IS Creative Studio is a Madrid-based design

consultancy, operating in a global marketplace.
// Studio_IS Creative Studio // Designer_Richars Meza
Founded in 2010, the concept and goal of IS Creative Studio is to be an important platform for creativity and design with simplicity as the operating philosophy. I.S. stands for Ingrediente Secreto (Spanish for 'Secret Ingredient'). The brief was to create a bold minimalistic logotype that can capture the simplicity philosophy on their graphic identity. For the business cards I wanted original design, very attractive to people, that works almost like a design object. For the logotype I started covering some of the typography, and ended covering all with two black stripes. We added the register trademark when we realized that it helps to remind that there is something behind the black. With the business cards, even though we liked the black & white design, we realise that it need a little colour, but we didn't want to add a new corporate colour so we decided to paint the sides. I ended painting them myself with an old airbrush I used back at design school.

With a very small budget I designed the visual
mixing consoles, visualising sound peaks. Since I avoided colours to keep the printing costs low, I focused on a strong black and white contrast instead. Digitally used, the logo turns dynamic. The letters start to behave just like the moving LEDs of a mixing console.

Rubber Soul
Illustrations in a corporate book for the tyre manufacturer Goodyear-Dunlop. The Munich-based agency Anziger Wüeschner Rasp asked me to draw in the freestyle section of the book. I was free to do whatever popped up in my mind when I thought of Dunlop, so I played with the graduate title and the poster of the movie where Dustin Hoffman's character asks if Mrs Robinson wants to seduce him. Commercials always seduce, and rubber is a nice little fetish you should try.
