Christopher is a young upcoming designer with an eye for small details, he analysed a project from the exterior skin to its very functional use. Persuading his passion for computer technology, Christopher look at the most adequate way of integrating the digital application into actual building with an aim to revisit the architecture of the past into a more effective design, he is also interested into developing his BIM knowledge to reduce errors and deliver the project on time.
His simple design grew from his building design background from RMIT University which has given him a clear understanding how building are put together, “God is in the Details” Ludwig Miles van der Rohe , into a more efficient and effective design by understanding the site and the constrains. Central to every project is the notion of function and connectivity, as every zone are individually designed and subsequently used to full capacity considering sustainability, project cost and material finish detail.

The Victorian School Building Authority was created in 2016 to manage the State Government’s record investment in building new schools and early learning centres, and modernising existing ones.
We are delivering the schools needed for Victoria’s rapidly-growing population, and equipping them to prepare students for the new demands of the 21st century.
We are a division of the Department of Education and Training made up of building experts, project managers, architects and specialists in relocatable buildings, community engagement and asbestos removal.
We’ve put Victoria at the cutting-edge of school design, and we innovate in everything we do. As well as reforming schools, we are transforming neighbourhoods by creating sport, cultural, health and other facilities for students that can be shared with the wider community.
As we upgrade Victorian schools, we are removing asbestos that may pose a future risk, and introducing a new generation of bespoke modular buildings that greatly reduce time and disruption on construction projects.
The VSBA is responsible for:
• overseeing capital works for new schools and school upgrades
• developing and managing policies, standards and programs to ensure school facilities are contemporary, maintained, sustainable and safe
• planning to ensure our school system has capacity for current and future enrolments
• providing expert advice to ministers, DET, schools and other government agencies on school infrastructure
• generating and managing new partnerships with public and private bodies to deliver better facilities for students and increase their use by the wider community
• empowering communities and building pride in government schools through a new focus on communications and engagement with parents and other key stakeholders.
Visit www.schoolbuildings.vic.gov.au to learn more.
The Information and Analysis Unit (IAU) forms part of the Asset Management & Strategy Division of VSBA. The unit is responsible for maintaining the asset data in the asset management system for all Victorian government schools. This involves inputting all land and building data (usually received as architectural drawings) from over 1,800 school campus sites in an asset portfolio of approximately $20 billion.
IAU provides a range of analyses to support core functions of the VSBA, including providing:
• building data for planning and delivering capital works projects for schools
• capacity data for investment modelling for the annual state budget process
• room level data for school cleaning management
• innovative visual and pictorial representation of data for various audiences.
