Assignment: Emphasize spontaneity, flexibility, and play as a working process. You will work not to complete a preconceived idea, but to continually push past the boundaries of what you consider your project to be.

Response: My idea was to emphasize the essence of life and death in an intentionally unfinished project that utlizes both natural and “technological forms.� The sculpture uses the morbid earth tones to highlight the vibrant characteristics of new life.
