Corporate Philosophy


The Genesis Family business with taste for the good of life. Our family originates from Syria in the Middle East and the sun-drenched slopes in Qualamounbergen. Just before I came to the world, my family moved to "Little Paris", ie Beirut in Lebanon, which was then a well-attended and vibrant Mediterranean metropolis.

During the long and devastating civil war 1975-1990, when most of Beirut was ruined, I decided in 1989, in love and newlywed, to seek asylum in Sweden. As soon as I had learned enough Swedish I felt I wanted to do what I was best at bake bread! By borrowing some money from my family in Lebanon with a huge strong desire to succeed, important support from my brother Salem and my wife and a lot of luck, I managed to start a bakery in Gothenburg in 1992. No machines were able to bake Our special thinbread saw me and my brother set up at night and made drawings, designed and experimented with different solutions to get it exactly as we wanted. In 2003, the company was transformed and received its current name LibaBrÜd AB. In 2005 I was chosen for the New Builders of the Year in Västra GÜtaland and 2012 we celebrated the 20th anniversary!
