EDITORS LETTER Life is about making choices. Deciding what you want to do. Where you want to go. Who you want to be with. It consists of failures, success, happiness, excitement and much more. Life should be lived to the fullest. And that’s only possible if you are willing to take risks once in a while. Be willing to overcome your fear of failure in order to move on and grow as a person. Being DAUNTLESS means being fearless, which is why I have chosen this title. Not that you have to get rid of your fears right away. DAUNTLESS reminds you to acknowledge them and find a way to work around them. So being DAUNTLESS means being strong, brave and not afraid to step up in the right moment. It should motivate you to express yourself and stop caring what other people think. Why would you waste your life pretending you are somebody that you are not ? This magazine should emphasize all of those aspects. It should give you inspiration to try something new, to be different and to motivate people to do the same. It is diverse and gives every reader something to identify themselves with. From Festival gear to fashion forecasting this magazines provides everything you need to be ready to take the world by storm. It encourages to try something new for the next season or to get ready for the festival you always wanted to go to. It covers not only the lifestyle of women but also consist out of a section for our DAUNTLESS men. It is a vision we have for the DAUNTLESS people out there or for those who are still on their way in becoming one. Be daring. Be different. Be brave. Be DAUNTLESS.

Lily McCune Model, Photographer and a becoming stylist. Lily McCune is everything a fashionista wants to be . This short, skinny girl filled with energy and creativity lives near Los Angeles with her mother. Her father Grant McCune, who designed the Robots for the famous movie series “Star Wars” and who was very close to Lily, past away a couple of years ago. “It was one of the hardest things I had to overcome in life so far. I always looked up to him. He was my inspiration,” says Lily. But her fathers death did not stop her from pursuing her dreams and working hard for what she wants. Modeling became a big part of her life. Meeting lots of new people and being surrounded by creativity is one of her favorite parts of her jobs. Inspired by music, nature and people Lily ideally wants to work in the fashion industry and own her own magazine. This is also the reason why she is currently attending a styling program in London. There, she wants to further develop her sense of fashion and not only be able to work behind and in front of the camera but also style the models, create an idea and story. Looking at Lily’s personal style one fast noticed that she dresses very classy but simple using natural colors. McCune herself describes her style as “60’s and nudes”. She prefers high quality but also puts great effort in being comfortable while still keeping it dressy. Besides her great sense of style and talents, Lily is filled with joy and gratfulness. She does not waste a moment in life and takes the world by storm. She makes sure to have fun in life, laugh a lot and not to take life too serious. She does not let her model life get to her head and acts very down to earth. After all, she is just a normal girl with a glamorous life who enjoys McDonald food and is obsessed with cats. She is a great example of working hard for your dreams while still enjoying every step of the way.

Graduate Fashion Week - London Graduate Fashion Week. The place to show off everything you have been working on the last year. This years Graduate Fashion Week has been a big success again. Coming together from all over Great Britain it’s one of the biggest fashion events for students in London. Besides the big exhibition of the different schools and their students work, there are also actual Fashion shows going on. This four-day event is filled with new designers, creativity, inspiration and lots of dressed up people. This is the event to get recognized at and create your future. The Fashion shows were amazing. It is incredible what such young designers can produce and how diverse collections can be. To the left are our editors favorite picks from the different Fashion shows. Kingston University was one of our favorite shows. It was mostly womenswear with a couple of stylish and creative menswear in between. One of our favorite collections was Lauren Lakes furry design that were very inspiring and had so much detail in them with its pastel colors. It opened up the show and took us by breath. Mid length skirts and dresses were definitely a big trend in all the different collections. Natural or bright colors were also used quiet frequently. The entire Fashion Week was a total success and we can’t wait to see all the new designs during the next Graduate Fashion Week.

POETIC JUSTICE
Shattered Starlight She had stars behind each eyelid, And a galaxy in her soul, That drew people to her endless heart, Like the pull of a black hole, She was made of earth and fire, Of wishes cast on shooting stars, She was a brand new solar system, Unlike the ones they’d known so far, With constellations ever changing, No one could memorize her skies, And they thought the thing for them to do, Was bring her to their size, They shrunk the universe within her, Told her vast expanse was wrong, That she should make her life much smaller, If she wanted to belong, As they collapsed her world around her, She felt her inner stars grow cold, Until her life was far too heavy, For her once strong arms to hold, You might wonder why it happened, But I guess that it makes sense, Because a life becomes much heavier, When it’s the universe condensed. - Erin Hanson

The thing about chaos, is that while it distrubes us, it too, forces our hearts to roar in a way we secretly find magnificent. - Christopher Poindexter She wasn’t bitter. She was sad, though. But it was a hopeful kind of sad. The kind of sad that just takes time. - The Perks of being a Wallflower
Ask her what she craved and she’d get a little frantic about thinks like books, the woods, music. Plants and the seasons. Also freedom. - Charles Frazier
When I was younger I’d put my arms in my shirt and told people I lost my arms. I would restart the video game whenever I knew I was going to lose. I would sleep with all the stuffed animals so non of them would get offended. I had that one pen with 6 colors , and tried to push all the buttons at once. I poured my soda into the cap and akted like I was taking shots. I would wait behind a door to scare someone, but soon leave because they were taking too long or I had to pee. I would fake being asleep, so my dad would carry me to bed. I used to think that the moon followed my car. I would watch those two drops of rain roll down the window and pretend it was a car race. I used to swallow fruit seeds and get scared to death that a tree was going to grow in my tummy. Remember when we were kids and couldn’t wait to grow up? What were we thinking?

LONDONS MOST UNUSUAL BARS The Mayor if Scaredy Cat town. This name is not the only unusual part of this bar. In order to get to the bar you have to enter through a fridge. The fridge is located in one of the famous restaurants ‘ The Breakfast Club’ on Artelly Lane. Take you date, find the fridge and get ready for a fun night in a cocktail bar that has lots to offer. Portside Parlour. Another unusual place is this fancy bar that is decorated with nice couches and a relaxed atmosphere. Now for this bar you don’t have to enter through a fridge but rather through a toilet. You have to walk down a wooden stair case head to the bathroom and then grab the loo chain next to the towel rail to open the door to a exciting date night.
Happiness Forget. This little cozy bar is located on the west side of Hoxton square. There is nothing unusual about this bar but it’s a nice place for some cocktails, good music and a perfect environment.
Ice Bar London. A very unusual bar. It is entirely made out of ice. Even your drinks are served in ice cubs. Although you have to make a reservation and there is an entry fee it is worth it. Because who can say they had a drink at a bar entirely made out of ice?

NICK RADLEY
72
Model, Photographer, Assistant and worker for an Event Company. Nick Radley is all over the place with his work. Starting modeling at age 17 Radley has become a talented and well known Model from London. He worked for Calvin Klein, Prada and many more and definitely has the potential to climb up the ladder of success with his looks. His defined jaw and light blue eyes give this skinny 23 year old guy from London the perfect features to draw attention to him. Model life can be quite competitive but according to Radley it is not too bad in London. Working on a regular basis is the bigger struggle in this business. One of the most unusual shoots Nick had to model in consisted of changing menswear to womenswear. During this shoot they put heels and skirts on Radley. Definitely not the usual clothes a guy would wear. Besides running from one model casting to another, Radley is a normal person just like everybody else. He enjoys going out, eating tappas and going to Festivals. This talented young man is full of energy and ready to take the world by storm. Looking at Radleys personal style, he dresses very messy neat. His favorite store is Fred Perry, which is well reflected in his every day clothes. He also shops at Topman and Urban Outfitters and likes to go for the British style. Inspired by motivation and people who know what they want in life, Radley is currently working on his own dream; becoming a photographer. He started taking pictures at age 18 but “wouldn’t use that work now. I always look at my images to see what I did wrong and how I can make them better next time.” Working as a model Radley gets to meet a lot of photographers. That’s also how he met Darren Black the photographer he is assisting now. Black was shooting the show packs for Radley’s model agency two months ago and Radley asked him if he needed an assistant. Radley tries to learn as much as possible from Black’s work and gain enough experience to be a photographer himself. Radley is now doing shootings himself with a make up artist and a stylist in order to work on his portfolio. His work is amazing already and his experience from assisting Black is definitely paying off. He really wants to hit it off as a photographer and keep on shooting. His focus is on fashion photography, editorials for now. Not finishing school, Radley might be at a slight disadvantage but according to him he would “like to see where I would have been if I went to Uni but then I would have never swapped some of the opportunities I have had too.” So living in London and trying to make it as an artist is not always easy. But Radley definitely has the potential to succeed not only as a model but also as a photographer. It will be a long process but we will keep an eye out and you never know maybe see his work hanging up somewhere in a couple of months.
