urban studies on typology in immediate site Sketches through the study of form, typology, use of elements, thresholds and tangible and intangible patterns I have come with the conclusion of the sense of identity that the immediate site, Chinatown, brings to the users of the space. This sense of identity has links to the culture of Australia and China (or asia) which would be an interesting concept to integrate with this building, considering that the quality of the site has direct implications to what shall be built on its foundations.

WK4
Design exploration of ‘form’ but, “How will users occupy and utilise the space through the exterior form?” Using the concept of the “street” and integrating with the residential/ commercial building. Design ideations are below.

AT02 SUBMISSION // PRESENTATION OF SCHEMATIC DESIGN May not have done entirely well with executing the concept of the “elevated streetscape” during this milestone, however, will use the remaining weeks after this to develop design and understanding of the concept.
