Hey Clark Key Club! Welcome to the third issue of Charger Territory (: I hope you all are having a great time off, whether you are traveling, spending time with friends/ family, or staying at home playing video games. Even though there hasn’t been as many service events recently, I highly encourage that you keep up on our social media/remind for any new events. Getting a head start during summer by attending these events is a great way to make sure you’ll have enough hours to get inducted in the winter! I hope to see you guys at future events during the break, and remember to stay safe and hydrated! Love you all <3

Hey Clark Key Clubbers! I know these summer months are pretty uneventful within Key Club, but please be on the lookout on our social media as we will be holding more and more events as August nears. If you’d like to know more about what’s going on within our division, I highly suggest attending our monthly DCMs! Here you can see what the rest of the Key Clubs are up to within our region, socialize with fellow Key Clubbers, as well as participate in service projects. The next DCM will actually be held at Clark on August 6th, so I highly recommend you come check it out! It’ll be a specialized meeting as it will double as the “702KC Market” in which clubs will be selling a variety of food and drinks. If you’re interested please contact an officer! I hope to see many of you there and remember, I chrysia-ppreciate you all <3.

ice cream social
JUNE 1
On Saturday, June 1st, members attended a FUNsaver Drive held by local kiwanians in front of Sweet Addiction, a shop that sells ice cream. After helping load household goods into a truck to donate, the Southwest Kiwanis Club treated us to free ice cream. We were able to meet and talk with multiple Kiwanis members who treated us very kindly. This was a great opportunity to meet Kiwanis members of other clubs we wouldn’t otherwise be able to see. — CHRYSIA EDANO

This year's K1 Day (Days for Girls) was an amazing event, something I've never experienced during my time in Key Club. Key Clubbers and Kiwanians from different clubs got together and created packs of feminine hygiene products, which will be shipped to Panama, where items like these are not easily accessible. My favorite part of the event was being able to sit down at a table with Kiwanians and having conversations with them while cutting and preparing fabric that would be sown. Although we didn't quite reach the goal we had set for the day, there will be another day to finish all the packages. All in all, we worked really hard and had a fun time haha. I hope you all go to the next/future K1 Days, to help those in need and to get to know Kiwanians around the city! — KAYLA ARCANGEL
