SPRING SOCIAL Playing games with relation to the spring holidays was a wonderful time of nostalgia. Everyone played and each person just had a good time without regard for anything negative; all I could do was smile whether it was the egg hunt, basketball, relaxing in the sun, blowing bubbles, games of concentration, or the wonderfully difficult game of chubby bunny, everything was a great experience with even greater people. Even in times of fun, we didn’t forget our roles in helping society with our Spring Break cards for kids, which may have been my favorite part of it all. Times like these are why I am thankful for joining such an exciting and upbeat club, times like these are the ones I’ll never forget. -Anthony Statton

Spread the Word

Literary Service

As Lieutenant Governor, I hosted the very first Division Council Meeting for the 2015-2016 term. It was very nerve-wracking knowing that I was going to speak and give updates to over 80 attendees from all over Division 28 West. I was extremely honored to have great attendance at my first meeting, especially with people from Clark supporting me. I raffled off a D06N Penguins shirt and a D28W Tumbler mug that I made myself to create some fun in the environment. While I already know some things I plan to improve on, I’m excited for future DCMs and I hope as many members from my home club will attend them! -Aaron Quiamzon

L-O-V-E we love our LTG !

Attending the April DCM was surely an event that I'm glad I went to. Aaron's first DCM was a success, with so many people gathering at such a beautiful school. We learned of the many events that other schools' Key Clubs were planning, recognized members' achievements for this month, and were able to welcome the new Division Board for the 2015-2016 term. I have a lot of hope for the new board, and wish them the best! -Trina Hua

The Basketball Tournament made its second return this year, and I could not have been any more excited for it! Last year was the first time it was ever run, so it wasn’t really the smoothest or calmest thing to control. But this year, the players knew the ropes, and it made for a really challenging atmosphere, which actually made it more fun! You could really feel the competition in the air with each game; each and every player on each and every team were playing their hearts out (and then there was Ken’s team). Aside from the action on the court, there were also some other Key Clubbers in the bleachers who came out to support the players. After through many hard-fought games, only Anu’s and Charles’ teams remained. While I can’t say that the final game was a close game, I can say that it definitely left everyone watching speechless. Congratulations to Charles for winning the tournament two years in a row! I can’t wait for this event to come back next year, and who knows what surprises it will come with!
