Long Winter Weekend
A Night at the Opera
Long Winter Weekend begins for students at noon on Friday, Feb. 7, with classes resuming on Tuesday, Feb. 11
Agnes Irwin Concert The annual CFS/Agnes Irwin Concert will grow to include four schools this year. Church Farm School, The Haverford School, Agnes Irwin and Baldwin School choirs will present a combined concert on Tuesday, Feb. 11 at 7:30 PM in Centennial Hall at Haverford School. The choirs will perform five combined pieces, including an arrangement of Beautiful River, and Rachmaninoff's Ave Maria. Each choir will also present several selections on its own. Centennial Hall at Haverford School is located at 450 Lancaster Avenue in Haverford. The concert is free, and the public is warmly invited to attend.

A Night at the Opera The Church Farm School Choir and six acclaimed soloists, under the direction of CFS Musical Director Gary Gress, will repeat its November performance of A Night at the Opera on Friday, Feb. 21 at 7:30pm at Church of the Good Samaritan in Paoli. Soloists and choir members will sing arias, duets, quartets and choruses from a variety of operas including Mozart's Cosi fan tutte, Bellini's Norma, Verdi's
