Griffin Scholars Luncheon Our fall Griffin Scholars Luncheon was held October 29 at the school and gives supporters of the program the opportunity to get to know the students they sponsor. There are currently more than 60 CFS students provided scholarships through the program. Learn more about joining here, and a huge thank you to the individuals, families and foundations who give so that others may receive a CFS education! View all of the pictures from the luncheon on SmugMug.
Join the Shreiner Society On November 12, 2014, we will welcome members of the Reverend Dr. Charles W. Shreiner Society for a luncheon. The Shreiner Society recognizes individuals who have planned for Church Farm School in their will. Eric, who played at Temple University after CFS with a full athletic scholarship, has been playing in the NBA and its D-League for the past few years, and talked about how being sidelined by various injuries hasn't wavered his commitment to "looking at the big picture" and persevering toward his goals.
Joey Shelton '14 returned to CFS on his first visit home from Washington College in Maryland. We love when our alums look back, come back and give back. If you're in the area, never hesitate to stop by!
Disciplinarian Art Smith was a standout with his head-to-toe support for the cause. View the 2013-14 Annual Report

CFS Recognized for Solar Program Since January 2013, Church Farm School has been powering more than 80% of its campus' annual electricity needs (at less than market rates) through its five-acre, 1.1 megawatt solar array. In September, the Solar Energy Industries Association (SEIA) announced the findings of a report by The Solar Foundation (TSF) with support from SEIA detailing the "explosive growth" in the use of solar energy in K-12 schools in the U.S. Church Farm School ranks 28th among 3,727 schools in the nation that utilize solar energy to cut their electricity costs.
Christopher Gramlich Joins Math Department Join us in welcoming Chris Gramlich to CFS! Ardrossan Beagles On Sunday, November 30 at 2:00 p.m., the Ardrossan Beagles, founded on the principle of the sport of the chase, will hold a children's hunt in the fields near our barns. During the hour-long hunt, the beagles, led by huntsman Francis Jacobs, will attempt to find and chase one or more of the rabbits that reside in that area with the children following closely behind. Each participating child will have his or her own beagle to follow, identified by a colorful ribbon attached to the beagle's collar. Refreshments will follow the hunt.
Annual Fund The 2014-2015 CFS Annual Fund drive is underway. We are looking for increased rates of participation among our parents, alumni, faculty/staff and friends. Income from tuition covers less than 10% of our annual operating expenses. Contact Director of Development Peter Corrado at pcorrado@gocfs.net or you can make your gift online at www.gocfs.net/give. Look for future E-Lerts to arrive on a monthly basis. Please share the email addresses of friends and/or fellow classmates who might also wish to receive these updates. As always, thanks for your time and interest.
