IN SUPPORT OF Hadassah hospital
To meet the growing demand for advanced rehabilitative services, Hadassah Hospital built the state-of-the-art Gandel Rehabilitation Center (GRC) at Mount Scopus. The rehabilitation center will care for 10,000 patients annually – a 250% increase – offering a host of new, specialized treatments.
CHW SUPPORTS HYDROTHERAPY
The new hydrotherapy unit houses two heated hydrotherapy pools with modular floors that adapt to each patient’s needs. The unit serves as an aquatic gym to help a variety of patients through individual and group therapy sessions, treating 150 patients each day – triple the previous number of patients treated daily.
Hydrotherapy is an effective form of water-based physical therapy that eases pain and promotes strength and movement throughout the rehabilitation process. Water embraces and supports patients with a soothing, low-impact environment for exercise.
Temperature-controlled treatment in hydrotherapy pools targets a variety of patients healing from traumatic injuries and suffering from chronic pains to help them improve their motor skills, strength, and agility.
Studies have found that hydrotherapy can be a good supplement to physical therapy in the recovery from an injury or surgery. It is also a medication-free and non-invasive option for alleviating symptoms such as muscle pain and joint stiffness.

CHW SUPPORTS THE PSYCHOLOGICAL REHABILITATION UNIT
Recognizing the consequences of conflict extend far beyond immediate physical treatment, CHW’s campaign is funding the new Psychological Rehabilitation Unit (PRU) in the Gandel Rehabilitation Center to support victims of trauma through their long-term journey of recovery.
Hadassah Hospital’s new PRU will provide a wide range of psychological rehabilitation treatments for conditions ranging from acute stress disorder and PTSD to depression and adaptation to living with disability.
The PRU will include psychologist and social worker offices in a variety of departments to provide patients with easy access to comprehensive, seamless care that addresses their entire human experience; family rooms where patients can reconnect with loved ones, participate in group activities, and rebuild social support networks crucial to their recovery; purposely placed therapeutic healing gardens to provide patients with restorative outdoor spaces that smooth the lines between medical treatment and natural recovery; and a cognitive treatment room with cutting-edge technology to enhance overall mental health recovery for patients facing neurological challenges, trauma, or stress-related disorders.

CHW SUPPORTS HYPERBARIC OXYGEN THERAPY FOR PTSD
Shamir Medical Center, home to the largest and most sophisticated hyperbaric treatment center worldwide, is a global leader in the research and treatment of PTSD. Their groundbreaking method combines hyperbaric oxygen therapy (HBOT) with the expertise of a multidisciplinary team dedicated to treating severe PTSD for 1,000 patients a year.
This innovative treatment was developed for acute, treatmentresistant PTSD and has proven effective in reducing symptoms such as flashbacks, hypervigilance, and irritability, and facilitating a swift return to normal life.
Due to the current crisis in Israel, there is an urgent need to leverage this unique and effective tool for civilians contending with severe trauma. Supporting the expansion of the PTSD-treatment will enable Shamir Medical Center to provide comprehensive, professional, ongoing treatment tailored to the unique needs of each patient, many survivors of the horrors of October 7.
Our support will help heal hundreds of individuals - children and adults - who have endured unimaginable pain, so they can regain hope and rebuild their lives.

Participants in the program receive a minimum of 20 hours of community service and have the opportunity to engage in active, social causes and receive hands-on experience volunteering in the community. The main educational objectives of the JOLT programs are: leadership, tikkun olam, development of Jewish identity, and developing ties to their kvutza/ community.

MY PERSONAL CALLIGRAPHY
The Islamic religion prohibits the use of statues and images as a way of expressing and decorating space. Therefore, calligraphy has become a central decorative tool in Muslim architecture and its art.
The Coptic font, which is one of the styles of Muslim calligraphy, is a personal journey to find new ways to create forms by breaking down the rules of Arabic calligraphy.
The language functions as a code in which the spoken and written word has the ability to have a personal impact. The collection draws from Islamic architecture and calligraphic art and uses the shape of letters as its building blocks.
In this way, the figurative and decorative dimension of the letters becomes an image-based and decorative construction that underpins the collection.

THE LAYERED SKIRT
"All honor, daughter of the King of the Interior"
Wearing skirts as a representative theme of modesty in female clothing in Judaism due to being a symbol of self-expression, identity and rich history. Modesty is a central value in Judaism and is revealed in many areas of our lives, especially in clothing.
Combining the principles of modesty with contemporary design, creating a connection between the past and the present in an unexpected way of connecting technical definitions with social definitions.

TRANSFORMNATURE- A NATURAL REVOLUTION
Nature is an integral part of the basic human experience, but biophilia is the extreme phenomenon, expressing a particularly high sensitivity towards it.
Biophilia is a definition of a deep connection that is created between humans and nature, which is characterized as a stimulating and extreme aesthetic and emotional experience.
With the help of textile development by working with organic materials from nature, the collection presents the phenomenon and seeks to establish the basic and branched connections between humans and the nature around them.

PROJECT TITLE: TO BESTOW TO THE FRACTURE LINE BEAUTY & STRENGTH
Beauty, youth and perfection constitute the ideal of beauty. But we have the option of choosing natural aging.
The term pro-aging describes the natural feminine beauty that does not need to be renovated and adjusted. Our wrinkles are not flaws but the roadmap of our unique journey in life and erasing the signs of age from a woman's face means erasing her identity, power and history.
To enrich the collection, the Japanese art of Kintsugi was chosen, which sees beauty in imperfection and value in simplicity, and is a reason to keep an object around after it is broken, emphasizing the cracks and repairs as a natural part of an object's existence instead of throwing it away as soon as it is broken.
The collection is characterized by silhouettes far and close to the body, filled with internal and external scars, as a symbol of the marks that remain on the body throughout life. The textiles within the models depict the beauty of the fractures, lines and defects as a symbol of repair.
Fundraising for CHW is a meaningful way to continue the family tradition - my mom has been involved for almost 60 years. I have been blessed to see firsthand the impact of CHW’s work in Israel.
Modeling for this event is not just about fashion— it’s a powerful statement of support, tradition, and making a difference in changing people’s lives.
