Letter from your Treasurer Hello NJ District Board! I hope you all had a wonderful summer! As we roll into Month 6 of our terms and the start of school, this newsletter will detail all of your Treasurer related questions and Hunger in NJ accomplishments. I can’t wait to see you all at Fall RTCs! Feel free to ask me any questions you may have.
Fall Rally It is incredibly important that everyone tries their very bext to get all the clubs in their division to attend Fall Rally. The money made from Fall Rally goes toward future expenses and pays for past expenses. In fact, the bery board shirt you wear to RTCs, is paid for by Fall Rally. Scholarships at DCON also come from the money the District makes at Fall Rally. Not only is Fall Rally ridiculously important for the financial stability of the District, but it’s a fun day at a theme park, for all of NJ. I’m sure you all want, to be cheered as you walk on stage, at six flags. So work your very hardest in the next few weel, to ensire we have a great turnout.
Dues Season
The Membership Update Center or MUC opens up the 9th of September!! The MUC is the program that allows clubs to update all of their member information and pay dues. Please stress dues toyour clubs, and let them know about the MUC opening September 9th. Also stress that clubs can sen dues in as they receive them, for example a club only has dues for 15 out of 90 members, however they want to meet the Early Bird Deadline (November 1st), the club can send in the dues they have and then simply update the MUC and send in the money when they receive the rest.
Similar to what Hayley and I did with DPS club communication check ups, I will be checking up with you all in regards to dues, once the MUC opens up and schools are in session. These check ups will require you guys to all send an email regarding dues and speaking to your clubs one on one (with proof of contact). This will allow all clubs to get into the Dues mood, and you guys to track their progress. :D

Dues Unpaid Clubs As a District, we still have 4 clubs that have yet to pay dues of which are: Division 2: Pleasantville Division 3: St. Augustine Prep Division 7: Donovan Catholic Division 13: South Hunterdon Reg
As we begin school, as a district we must make sure all clubs start to participate in Hunger in NJ. While we have made great progress so far at reaching our goals, we are still quite far. So keep pushing and reminding your clubs while the DOS committee sends you more promotional materials.

Divisional Events
Schools are opening and event calenders are being set, make sure to speak with your divisional event parter as soon as possible so that you can start to plan fabulous divisional events. Remember Hayley and I need to know your idea, the club that is hosting, as well as a tentative date by SEPTEMBER 25th, whether you attend that RTC or not. Voucher Reminder Throughout the year, from traveling to mailing things out, as board members you may end up spending money for key club. In recognition of this, all district officers as well as committees have a budget that was allocated to them in the beginning of the year. Use your budget wisely, but know that it is there. However, please remember that one cannot vouch for things after a period of 6 months. Include receipts and a description for what you are vouching for, and send the excel document to me as a pdf email or hand it to me.
