2017 SUMMER LEARNING EXPERIENCE
D&D MODULE Discover & Decide (D&D) Discover & Decide (D&D) is created by Wisdom Living to fulfill the aim of transforming uncertainty to wise judgement. The module derives from a combination of several renowned techniques and assessments including PSI Personality Test from Psychology for Kids, Wheel-of-life Assessment, and SMART Goal Setting. All these techniques are modified according to your children’s needs and constructured to our uniquely owned - D&D Module. Overall, there are four major steps in our module: Starting from self-discovery through several personality tests, Making a rational decision through the education of SMART-thinking, Setting goals, Discovering from world interaction, and keep on monitoring and evaluating from time to time.
STEP 1: SELF-DISCOVERY Self-discovery through several personality tests from Psychology for Kids to identify your children’s personal characteristics and attitudes. From the result, we will also have a set of recommended choices of career for your children to consider.
STEP 2: DECIDE YOUR GOAL Based on the understanding of personal strengths and weaknesses, children are required to write down their area of improvement in the Wheel-of-life and set a goal for each area.
STEP 3: INTERACTIVE DISCOVERATION The balance of inner and outer discoveration is equally important. We also make sure your children discover from a holistic interaction through social, mind, and nature, combining both indoor and outdoor setting.
STEP 4: MONITOR & EVALUATE This Wheel-of-life will be reviewed by the end of the experiential tour and children may continue using the module to monitor and evaluate their improvement from time to time after the tour.
NURTURING WISDOM THROUGH GLOBAL EXPERIENTIAL LEARNING
2017 SUMMER LEARNING EXPERIENCE
OUR ACADEMIC PARTNER ETC International College provides British Council accredited English courses for students who want to develop and improve their English language skills. Each year, over 600,000 students come to the UK to learn English. Many are attracted by Britain’s reputation for academic excellence to improve their English before studying at a British University and others choose the UK for its diverse social activities. Students have a variety of English language schools and courses available. Selecting a course requires a lot of care and research, unlike other products it is not one that can be sampled beforehand. There are over 1,000 English language schools in Britain and they vary dramatically in levels of quality. That’s why we strongly advise students to choose a school that has been accredited under the Accreditation UK scheme. This is the only scheme which is recognised internationally. There are 375 establishments in the UK that are Accredited by the Accreditation UK scheme. The Scheme is run jointly by English UK and the British Council – and it is the only steadfast guarantee of quality in the UK appropriate to English language teaching. Every aspect of the school’s English language provision has been scrutinised on stringent criteria, which covers teachers, qualifications, class sizes, materials, management, accommodation, student welfare and premises. ETC International College is British council accredited school which provides outstanding English courses, so you can be sure that the quality of our service has been regularly inspected by qualified professionals. Needless to say, the ETC International College is one of the leading English language courses in Bournemouth.
