Chrome Plated - A ten year guarantee is extended on all bathroom and kitchen products with Cifial UK’s chrome plate finish when installed in a residential application Unique and Special finishes: A one year guarantee is extended on all bathroom products with Cifial UK’s special finishes when installed in a residential application. All special and unique finishes are non returnable, General Cleaning - We recommend that Cifial products are cleaned using a soft damp cloth, we strongly advise against using any cleaning products, either powders or liquids, as they may contain harmful chemicals which could damage the product.

Guarantee:

A ten year guarantee is extended on all components to be free from failure due to defects in material and workmanship when installed in a residential application

Wear and tear parts:

A one year guarantee is extended on all wear and tear parts including sealants, waste clickers, membranes, tap cartridges, diverters, flexible hoses and electronic components.

Shower guarantee:

A ten year guarantee is extended on all parts of our shower fittings when installed in a residential application. All cartridges within our shower valves are only covered if maintenance procedures are followed. Failure to follow maintenance procedures voids the guarantee. The removal of flow restrictors in shower heads voids the guarantee. Maintenance: The thermostatic cartridge especially in hard water areas should be removed and cleaned regularly, and the thermostatic control handle moved between maximum and minimum limits in accordance with our installation instructions to prevent the build up of limescale incrustation which could block up the thermostatic cartridge. The shower heads need to be regularly ‘rubbed’ to prevent the build up of limescale.

hot water safety New regulations have been introduced for new buildings and works requiring planning permission. The main aims of these regulations are: water efficiency (see page 2) and hot water safety:
