Language Teacher Writing Workshops Your students deserve amazing design!

Learn the nuts and bolts of writing leveled texts for your beginner, intermediate, & advanced classes.

Each four-part series* includes (1) a 90-minute Fiction Writing Workshop on Saturday on crafting narrative texts that have appropriate complexity & language supports for the level, (2) a 90-minute Fiction Design Lab on Sunday, on using the provided templates to include graphics & layout elements that support comprehension, to respond to the specific needs of students at that level, (3) a 90-minute Nonfiction Writing Workshop the following Saturday, and (4) a 90-minute Nonfiction Design Lab the following Sunday.

You'll leave with two finished texts (one fiction & one nonfiction)* about topics that you want to teach, & also a library of editable templates for lots more topics at that level, created by your fellow participants & instructors.

It's like getting an instant collection of leveled texts, plus loads of templates you can use however you want!

We will provide blank templates for each level of text, graphics, icons, & infographics (charts, maps, etc) to make designing leveled readings a snap! Take your readings to the next level with our help & see what a difference your new writing & layout skills make for your students' engagement, enjoyment, & comprehension!

Take just one level or sign up for the whole series, save a bundle on your tuition, & learn all the things! The workshops will be recorded, so you can refer back to them anytime, or watch and learn on your own schedule.

If you are an educator of color, or a member of our LGBTQ+ community, your tuition is FREE if you are willing to partner with us to potentially bring your work to publication on E-Lit, as a member of our writing team, as we work to bring a wider variety of voices to our students. This could be the start of a fruitful collaboration with E-Lit for those with the desire to publish content for language learners!
