CIMSA AT THE INTERNATIONAL LEVEL

IFMSA

IFMSA is a non-profit, non-governmental, and non-partisan federation representing association of medical students internationally. Since 1951, IFMSA has been run for and by medical students around the world. IFMSA has been recognized by United Nations System and World Health Organization. CIMSA has been affiliated with IFMSA since 2002 and is the sole representative to IFMSA since September 11th, 2019.

INTERNATIONAL MEETINGS

Sub Regional Training is an international meeting in which motivated medical students from the region can meet and participate in training, workshops, and small working groups.

IFMSA GENERAL ASSEMBLY SUBREGIONAL TRAINING

ASIA PACIFIC REGIONAL MEETING

IFMSA General Assemblies are among the biggest young-led events around the world. This event is held twice a year in March and August and attended by over 800 medical students from more than 100 countries. Through this event, it is hoped to inspire the next generation of future health professionals to become leaders and advocates through exchange of ideas, networking, and learning. Asia-Pacific Regional Meeting is a meeting for IFMSA members in Asia-Pacific region including CIMSA to create a network among Asia-Pacific region, equip students leadership and management, and educate on global health and education related to Asia-Pacific region.

EXCHANGE ACTIVITIES

Medical students can commence on a journey to understand health both in terms of health care and health systems in different cultural and social settings. Through the exchanges, we aim to develop culturally sensitive and skilled students intent on shaping the world of health in the upcoming future.

EXCHANGE MAP

SCOPE and SCORE CIMSA holds Exchange Fair that aims to promote exchange programs and provide information all related to exchanges to all medical students of Indonesia. Exchange Fair is held simultaneously by all local SCOPE and SCORE CIMSA within a predetermined time span.

INTERNATIONAL FORUMS, SUMMER COURSES, CONFERENCES, AND WORKSHOPS

In partnership with external partners and in affiliation with IFMSA, CIMSA has continuously offered opportunities at international level for medical students to represent Indonesia. As a way to support youth involvement and participation, we always look for events for medical students of Indonesia to actively engage, practice, and learn more about health, education, and leadership.
