Family clay class

Bring your little ones or a friend to make some masterpieces as you learn with clay and pottery paints. You attend both dates listed. You will create your own unique clay piece on the first date, which will then be fired in the kiln. When you return on the second date, you will use creative techniques to paint your piece. All supplies are provided. All children must be accompanied by a responsible adult.

Learn about one of Ohio’s most misunderstood mammals, the eastern coyote, with Warren County Park District staff naturalist and permitted wildlife rehabilitator Shannon Pennington at this FREE community event. If you have seen a coyote in the area, you’re not alone! Are these animals a real threat to people and pets? What should you do if you see one? Should we be doing more to eradicate this species from our community? If you’ve never seen a coyote up close, you can check out a taxidermy coyote mount and pelt at this program.
