Performance Academy: Disney’s Aladdin, KIDS Meeting Room

Join us for a whole new world of magical fun! When the charming “street rat” Aladdin vies for the attention of the beautiful princess, Jasmine, he uses a genie’s magic power to become a prince in order to marry her. Memorable characters like Iago, Jafar and Genie combine with an ensemble of Agrabahns in this musical adventure filled with magic, mayhem and the power of love. Based on the iconic animated film, Disney’s Aladdin KIDS sends you soaring on a flying carpet ride filled with romance and adventure. Over two weeks, performers work as a group to put together a full production while learning acting, singing and dancing through fun theatre games.

Performance Intensive: Spotlight on Matilda Meeting Room

Sometimes you have to be a little be naughty! Take control and move objects in the world with the power of your mind as we dive into the music and magic of Matilda. Through a limited selection of songs like “Miracle,” “Naughty,” and “When I Grow Up”, follow Matilda on her journey to find acceptance and share her own special magic in a way only you can help her do. Classes in song and dance — plus an extended rehearsal and performance class — will be your guides to a Showcase by week’s end.

Spells Gone Wrong Meeting

Room

Not all spells work how they should — one bad ingredient, and the neighbor’s a werewolf! Suddenly, the mask on the wall is possessed by an evil spirit! And should that scarecrow be walking around?! Harness your skills in acting, improv, playwriting and more to weave your own cautionary tales of magic-gone-wrong, screams in the night, and goosebumps galore. Share your creations in a Shareformance at the end of the week.

Songs and Spells Meeting Rooms

Double, double boil and... sing! Fly into a week of songs that focus on those powerful magic makers: witches! Explore your wicked side and receive training in singing, dance and acting while taking on material from Into The Woods, The Wizard of Oz, Hocus Pocus and others. Each group will work on a scene, song and dance from one witch-themed musical to present in a Shareformance at the end of the week.

Magic Across the Multiverse Meeting Rooms

Enemies are pouring through the portal, and only you can stop them! Do you have the combat magic necessary to triumph and return home to your own universe? Train with Dr. Strange in his Sanctum Sanctorum! Classes in stage combat, acting and improvisation will give you the skills you need to face off against even the Scarlet Witch! Once you’ve returned to your home dimension, you’ll demonstrate your new skills in a Shareformance at the end of the week.
