A CHRISTMAS CAROL BRUCE CROMER (EBENEZER SCROOGE) Bruce has appeared in A Christmas Carol at Cincinnati Playhouse in the Park since 1997, including eight years as Bob Cratchit; other Playhouse credits include Speaking in Tongues (2012), King Lear (2001) and Barrymore (1999). Directing credits for the Playhouse’s outreach touring plays include Touch the Names and The Tempest. Regionally, Bruce has appeared in more than 180 professional stage productions with the Alabama Shakespeare Festival, Ensemble Theatre Cincinnati, Cincinnati Shakespeare Company, The Repertory Theatre of St. Louis, Santa Fe Stages, Clarence Brown Theatre, Milwaukee Repertory Theater, Dayton Philharmonic Symphony, Seattle Children’s Theatre and The Shakespeare Theatre of New Jersey, etc. Bruce played Kim Burke in the 2019 film Dark Waters, with Mark Ruffalo. He is now a retired professor of acting at Wright State University, and a proud member of Actors’ Equity Association since 1981. He is always delighted to share the stage with his beloved son, Charlie. CHARLIE CROMER (YOUNG AND MATURE SCROOGE/GHOST OF CHRISTMAS FUTURE) Charlie is honored to return for his third year in Cincinnati Playhouse in the Park’s A Christmas Carol. He has appeared nationally in lead roles with the Berkeley Impact Theatre, Eureka Suitcase Classics and 7 Stages Atlanta. His shadow play, The Asylum of Dr. Moreau, won Critic’s Pick for Best Drama at the Orlando International Fringe Festival. Regional credits include Of Mice and Men, Romeo and Juliet and Titus Andronicus at the Cincinnati Shakespeare Company. He also narrates a number of books on Audible. Charlie earned his MFA from the University of Georgia and is a proud member of Actors’ Equity. He lives in Yellow Springs, OH, with his wonderful new wife, Lauren. PAULINA DE LA PARRA (MARY (SCRUBWOMAN AT FEZZIWIG’S)/MRS. DILBER/RICH CAROLER/STREETS) Paulina is a Mexican actress, singer and writer now based in New York City. She started her acting career in her beloved Mexico City, participating in the original cast of Vive un Nuevo Musical! as well as playing Elphaba in Wicked, Eponine in Les Misérables and Belle in Beauty and the Beast, among others. Since moving to New York, some of her most recent work includes Tonya Pinkin’s Truth and Reconciliation: Womyn Working It Out! at the #HealMeToo Festival, and Vocal Ease (Feinstein’s/54 Below) as a lead vocalist, and she was part of the Manhattan Film Festival’s winning movie musical Plus One. Paulina is also heavily involved and passionate about charity work, traveling and making the world a more human and empathic one through art. FEZZIWIG/PATIENCE/STREETS) Annie is delighted to return for her sixth season of A Christmas Carol. Past Playhouse productions include Alias Grace (2019); A Prayer for Owen Meany (2016); To Kill a Mockingbird (2016); Pride and Prejudice (2014); and Hank Williams: Lost Highway (2012). She recently appeared in The Roommate at American Stage and The Wolves at Ensemble Theatre Cincinnati.
