STORY Hunterrr is about Mandar Ponkshe (Gulshan Devaiah) who is a sex addict. He is attracted to girls from his childhood and he has multiple relations with girls. As time passes he decides to get married to a girl through arranged marriage. He realizes that none of them are comfortable with him after knowing his past. This is when he meets Trupti (Radhika Apte), who is a modern, outspoken kind of girl. FINAL WORD Tamiluku En Ondrai Aluthavum couldâ&#x20AC;&#x2122;ve easily been made into a racy thriller of high standards but the director has chosen to add commercial content which has backfired in parts.

STORY This film is about three stories which are intertwined beautifully. There is Bindu Madhavi who gets stuck in a dangerous situation but cannot call her boyfriend, played by Attakathi Dinesh for help. There is this taxi driver, played by Sathish whose taxi is used by terrorists to destroy the city by planting a bomb which will explode when the terrorist makes a phone call. And then there is this brainy tech savvy college drop out, played by Nakul who is jobless but makes a living by helping engineering students in their projects. A natural calamity occurs leading to a major network jam which snuffs out the much needed signal from each and every mobile phones in the city.

THE MOST WANTED ACTRESS IN INDIA Sunny Leone is the name that has created huge sensation all over the country. This Indo Canadian model has made her entry into fashion world and has done number of adult films which made her popular throughout the globe. She has terrific craze among the youth for her terrific presence and perfect figure. She had placed herself in on the cover pages of many world famous magazines and grabbed many challenging awards after which she had made her entry into television and mainstream cinema. Her father was born in Tibet and raised in Delhi, while her mother (who died in 2008) was from Sirmaur, Himachal Pradesh. Leone’s first mainstream appearance was in 2005, when she was a red carpet reporter for the MTV Awards on MTV India. She has also had a cameo in the film The Girl Next Door, performed in Ja Rule’s video Livin’ It Up and a video for Kidd Skilly.

t this time Sunny has hinted the directors of Bollywood that she is interested to move if she has been quoted some good price. Director Mohit Surireportedly asked Leone to play the lead role in his film Kalyug, but instead he finalized Deepal Shaw as he could not afford Leone’s $1 million acting fee. In 2011, she participated in the Indian reality series Bigg Boss, entering the house on day 49. However she refused to divulge her porn star status, and replied to fellow house-mate Pooja Bedi that she was a model and a TV star in America for the last ten years or so. During her stay in the Bigg Boss house, Sunny was approached by Bollywood film-maker Mahesh Bhatt who entered the house briefly to offer her the lead role in Jism 2 (the sequel to the 2003 film Jism). She accepted it, which resulted in Pooja Bhatt’s production house, Fish Eye Network and Leone’s agent discussing the movie further. The movie received with huge expectations but the movie ended up as a huge commercial hit because of Sunny though the film lacked content. Sunny Leone signed her second Bollywoodfilm which is Ekta Kapoor’s Ragini MMS sequel, “Ragini MMS 2”. Ragini MMS, a crossover horror movie. Along with these Sunny has been seen in many item numbers which raised the heat among the youth.

She has been carrying her huge fan base and is striking with back to back films in frequent films which is making her the most searched actress in the country. Sunny also announced that she will be open for traditional roles and she will be soon seen in a traditional avatar. She expressed that Salman Khan is her favourite Bollywood actor and she loves watching Hollywood movies along with her husband. After making her moves to Bollywood, Sunny has recently purchased a beach faced apartment in the costliest part of Mumbai and shifted from a rented pent house in the beach city.

Sunny has been named as the most searched celebrity in Google by the Indians leaving everyone in shock. She has terrific craze all over the country and she has her dairy full till the end of 2017 which is a remarkable achievement by an adult actress in India. She is currently shooting for more than half a dozen movies in Hindi and her films Ek Paheli Leela, Kuch Kuch Locha Hai have completed shoot and are targeted for release. She has also wrapped up the shoot of her latest adult comedy Mastizaade with Tushar Kapoor and Vir Das. Sunny is currently shooting for her next film One Night Stand directed by Jasmine D’souza opposite Tanuj Virwani. After establishing herself as an actress, Sunny has been even endorsing various brands as an ambassador and she has been paid whopping amounts for that. She has been making her appearance on stage shows and eve parties which is bringing her huge amounts of money. Sunny Leone has also been seen in item numbers in South films and she has been signing them on selective basis. Bollywood actor Sanjay Dutt landed in fresh troubles as the Yerwada jail authorities are considering to cut his furlough period for failing to appear in the jail as per the mentioned date. Sanjay, who had applied for 14 days furlough in December 2014, was supposed to return to Yerwada jail on January 8. He sought an extension of 14 days more on health reasons but his request was turned down. The actor returned to jail on January 10 which means two days after the scheduled date. Vincent had directed 55 movies in Tamil, Telugu and Malayalam films and has worked as a cinematographer in 250 Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam and Hindi films. Analysis The first half of the movie is brilliant and it comes with lot of adult entertainment. The transformation of a boy into a guy has been well explained which leaves many in surprise. The sexual desire of an young man has been conveyed well. On the whole the complete first half of the film has been brilliant in narration with the leads performing their best. The second half of the movie has been interesting with adult comedy coming down and the factor of love replacing it. The complete second half of the movie has been very interesting except some flaws in the love making episodes between Gulshan and Radhika Apte. On the whole the second half of the film ends decent.

Performance Gulshan Devaiah who proved his worth earlier has delivered an outstanding performance in the film and is the asset for the film. Radhika Apte has been brilliant and confident with her character in the movie. Actress Sai Tamhankar is absolutely stunning and she can have any man fall flat for her. All others have given out their best for the movie. The story of the movie has been simple and what makes the film impressive is the screenplay along with the dialogues which does not need a brain to think. They have been straight and simple which catches everyoneâ&#x20AC;&#x2122;s attention. The music has been adequate and the cinematography has been wonderful. The production values have been grand enough and the director has revealed the concept with lot of clarity and commitment.

Some of the shocking scandalous content in the trailer would also have to go in the film. Says a source from the CBFC, “The trailer had been passed by the previous CBFC team and it contained a lot of objectionable language. There is nothing we could do about it. However the language censored in the film was done according to suitability of the theme. We were aware that Hunterrr was a sex comedy. We went along with the risque dialogues as much as we could.”

However, the CBFC suggested instead of beeps, the objectionable portions of the dialogues be re-recorded to avoid jerks in the soundtrack.

Final Word Hunterrr is a brilliant execution of an adult concept in an engaging and entertaining way. Except some flaws in the second half, the movie has been worth watching. On the whole Hunterrr is worth watching.

Says a source from the production house Phantom (who emerged triumphant last week with NH10), “We were asked to make changes in the dialogue, which we did. It was not that difficult since the actors are relatively less busy. If the film starred A-listers it would have been impossible to re-do the dubbing. But our very dedicated team of actors Gulshan Devaiya, Radhika Apte and Sai Tamhankar diligently went through the entire dubbing process again. We’ve substituted lines and words for what was seen by the CBFC as unacceptable verbal content. We’re now censored with an ‘A’ certificate and ready for release.” In the meanwhile, a controversy has been broken out over Hunterrr co-producer Anurag Kashyap’s comments about the earlier sex comedy Grand Masti. Kashyap’s statement that he wouldn’t see Grand Masti even if he was paid 5 crore rupees to do so has not gone down with the Grand Masti writer Milap Zaveri, who has blasted Kashyap. An unnamed representative of the production house Phantom says, “Anurag loves to shoot off his mouth. We’ve no control over what he says. We do not stand by his comments on Grand Masti. It was directed by a veteran filmmaker Indra Kumar whom we all grew up admiring. Hunterrr is a sex comedy too. S/O SATYAMURTHY – DECENT ALBUM The magical duo of Allu Arjun and Devi Sri Prasad have teamed up yet again for S/O Satyamurthy. The audio of the film has hit the market and let’s see how the complete album is. SONG 1: CHAL CHALE CHALO Analysis:- The album starts of with the song ‘Chal Chale Chalo’ which is in typical DSP style. Sung by Raghu Dixit, this song has meaningful lyrics and the orchestration is Indian. This song instantly reminds you of tracks from DSP’s previous films, but the way the hook up line ‘Chal Chale Chalo’ is composed makes this song interesting. SONG 2 : ONE & TWO & THREE Analysis:- The second song in the album is ‘One & Two & Three’ which is a quirky party number. Lyrics are interesting and gel with the song quite well. Mood of the song is upbeat and Sooraj’s singing is impressive. This song will hit you more once you listen to it multiple times. SONG 3 : SEETAKALAM Analysis:- Moving on, the third song in the album is the romantic number Seetakalam. Probably the best song in the album, this number hits you instantly with its soothing tune. Lyrics are romantic and the English rap in between is pretty good and makes it an instant chart buster. SONG 4 : SUPER MACHI Analysis:- The fourth song is the album is Super Machi. A full on mass number which has DSP’s trademark beats. Aimed totally at the masses, DSP makes this song his own with his energetic singing. There’s nothing special about the tune but the song will be a bigger hit after you watch Allu Arjun’s crazy dance steps. SONG 5 : COME TO THE PARTY Analysis:- The album moves ahead with an interesting song ‘Come to the Party’. A complete jazz based number which has a true old school charm, this number has funny lyrics and Vijay Prakash’s singing makes it decently hummable.

Raashi Khanna comes across as a very smart woman and she has been making some good career choices. Her next film is ‘Jil’ and she will be seen as Savithri in this movie.

Q) It is a pretty routine question but we have the character is to the director. How is she going to to ask this. How are you feeling about your talk. Are there any specific mannerisms or character traits? I don’t want to be myself in the character. I want upcoming release? (Smiles) I think we have delivered a great product as a team. There are all elements that are required for an entertainer. I am not an action person but I just loved the scenes in this movie. The rain fight will stand out. It is WOW.

I am confident that it will do well. We want people to walk out with a smile.

(Face lights up) I just love Hyderabad and I would like to settle down here. When I was in Mumbai, I used to crib about missing Delhi. But now, Hyderabad is my favourite place.

Q) Can you tell us something about your character? I am playing the role of Savithri, who is a very bubbly but traditional girl. It is a very character driven role.

Q) Compared to your previous films, you seem to have upped the glamour quotient for Jil. How much of a challenge was this?Acting for this role was a bit challenging. This is because Savithri’s character is very bubbly but I am not as bubbly in real life. As for the glamour, you will see that it is limited to the songs mainly. I had nothing in my mind while accepting this role.There was no agenda to be glamorous to change my image.

Q) As an actress, what kind of films would you like to do?I want every film of mine to be different from my previous one. But honestly, things are not completely in my mind. I just don’t want to be typecast. I wish writers can pen more impactful characters for women. At the end of the day,we are actors. Glamour alone cannot sustain you for years to come. Even if the character is very small, it should have some impact.

Q) When a director pitches a role to you, what do you look for?I ask a lot of questions when the

He has started his career in advertising and he has done several commercials which caught good attention. He has received critical acclaim for his movies Khosla Ka Ghosla and Oye Lucky Lucky Oye which won National awards. Both the films have been commercially successful and have received critical reception from the movie critics. His third film Love Sex Aur Dhokha has been based on the Delhi 2004 MMS scandal. This marked the first Indian film to be shot entirely on digital camera A cutting satire on lapsing social mores fuelled by materialistic greed and technological media advancement, it continued his oeuvre of grappling with the life of anchor-less middle-class & the completely amoral nouveau riche thrown up by India’s economic boom of the 1990s. CINEMATOGRAPHER TURNED DIRECTOR KV Anand is a multi talented technician who has made his entry as a cinematographer and he has achieved many awards and rewards as a cinematographer. He has worked with the finest technicians down South which made him one of the best cinematographers in no time. He has won National award as cinematographer for his debut movie Thenmavin Kombath which is the best example for his talent. He has worked with top directors like Shankar and he has slowly made his turn towards Bollywood and he worked as a cinematographer for movies likeDoli Saja Ke Rakhna, Josh, Nayak, The Legend of Bhagat Singh and Khakee. His Tamil movies included Kadhal Desam, Nerukku Ner, Mudhalvan, Virumbugiren, Chellamae and Sivaji. Almost all his movies ended as super hits at the boxoffice and his cinematography work has been specially appreciated by the audience and critics. However all these opportunities did not reach him easily and there was an enough struggle behind it. Anand applied for a full-time position as a photo journalist for India Today during his initial days, but failed to get the job offer. Anand, disappointed, left to Andaman Islands for a month. During this wilderness trip, Anand decided to make his transition from photo journalism to cinematography. Then he has joined PC Sreeram and worked for many of his movies which turned his life. After a super successful career as a cinematographer, Anand has taken a bold step to direct movies which left everyone in surprise. However he surprised everyone with his work in direction after his movies released. He made his debut as director with Kana Kandaen in 2005 and then after four years he directed Ayan with Suriya in the main lead which was a huge hit in Tamil.

During the script-writing process, Anand often finishes up to six drafts, though mentions he rarely “locks his script”, suggesting it is always open to changes for improvisations on the sooting spot. He often rephrases dialogues; and sometimes has invented titles during the drafting process, being constantly on the lookout for short and crisp titles.

Indian Cinema Kamal Haasan, the name itself reminds about the contribution he has done for Indian cinema. He has been entertaining the audience from the past four decades as an actor and even awards cannot replace the work he has done for Indian cinema. He is a film actor, screenwriter, director, producer, playback singer, choreographer and lyricist. After several projects as a child, Haasanâ&#x20AC;&#x2122;s breakthrough as a lead actor came in the 1975 drama Apoorva Raagangal. He was born in Tamil Nadu however he has done movies in Tamil, Telugu, Kannada, Malayalam, Bengali and Hindi languages. He has done movies in all the languages and he brought life to many characters in the movies he has done. The list of films to be remembered in his career are not limited and almost all his films have been special and he is the only Indian actor to receive four National awards and 19 Filmfare awards in his career which is really stunning. He has been awarded with Padma Shri in 1990 and with Padma Bhushan in 2014 for his contribution to Indian cinema.

The Legendary director passed away recently and Kamal paid his tribute for his guru. He also offered him a prominent role in his upcoming movie Uttama Villan which will release soon. Kamal Haasan won the prestigious President’s Gold Medal for his performance in Kalathur Jannamma at the age of four which is quite surprising. He had a spark of being a star since childhood. He became the first Indian actor to get Rs 1 crore as remuneration for a single movie and it happened in 1994. It was Rajesh Khanna who was the highest paid actor in those days till Kamal crossed him. Kamal is currently busy with three of his movies Uttama Villan, Vishwaroopam 2 and Papanasam. Uttama Villan has been directed by Ramesh Aravind and the script has been penned by Kamal himself. Andrea and Pooja Kumar are the heroines and Ghibraan is the music composer. The movie has been produced by Kamal Haasan and N Lingusamy. Vishwaroopam 2 has completed shoot and is in post production. The movie has been directed and produced by Kamal Haasan on Raajkamal Films International banner. Papanasam is the remake of Malayalam blockbuster movie Drishyam and Gouthami played the female lead in the movie which will release soon.

This year also Bajrangi Bhaijaan starring Salman and Kareena Kapoor would hit the theaters on Eid. However, the actor would not be able to release his film this Eid. Close source to the unit says that the cast was supposed to finish the last leg of shooting in Kashmir, unfortunately the incessant rain and floods in Kashmir has delayed the shoot. KATRINA KAIF, ADITYA ROY KAPUR ON ‘FITOOR’ SETS IN DELHI The film by director Abhishek Kapoor was being shot at Humayun’s tomb, Nizamuddin. Katrina was clad in a long, flowy dress, while Aditya wore jeans and jacket. The two are romantically paired in the movie, but they don’t play the stereotypical lovers of the kind we see in Bollywood films. ‘Fitoor’ is based on Charles Dicken’s famous novel ‘Great Expectations’ which has already been made into a film in Hollywood. The movie also stars Rekha and Aditi Rao Hydari. It was previously being shot in Kashmir.
