Sultan Stupendous narration, fearless performances and the emotional content will make Sultan end up as a massive hit. Story : Sultan is the story of Sultan Ali Khan (Salman Khan) who is a Jat from Haryana and passes time doing nothing. He falls in love with Aarfa (Anushka Sharma) on the first go and tries to impress her. During this time he gets insulted by her after which Sultan aspires to turn wrestler. His dedication and passion makes him a national champion in no time and Aarfa gets married to Sultan after he proves himself. During this time, an unexpected incident alters the situations and the rest of the film is about how Sultan comes out and bounces back. Watch Sultan to know about the rest.

Analysis : The first half of Sultan has been

exceptional in all the aspects. The presentation of the film has been outstanding and the dialogues have been sensible. The songs have been shot and placed well. The action episodes have been exceptional throughout the first half. The performances by the lead actors take the film to an untouchable place and the first half of Sultan is a treat to be watched. After such an impressive first half, the second half is not a let down at all and it has been carried well with the right emotions and enough dose of action episodes. The emotional episodes are the major highlights of the film and Salman Khan completely dominated the movie with his fearless performance. The climax has been heart touching and on the whole the second half of the film has been handled well that the film has all the ingredients to end up as a blockbuster.

Dishoom

Dishoom is a movie that can be completely ignored as the film lacks everything except some impressive action episodes.

Story : The story of Dishoom revolves around the kidnap of Indian cricketer Virat Sharma (Saqib Saleem) two days before the final match between India and Pakistan. Special Task Force Agent Kabir Shergill (John Abraham) will be asked to investigate the case and he picks up Junaid Ansari (Varun Dhawan) to help him in the case. They happen to meet Ishika (Jacqueline Fernandez) during the investigation who happens to be a pick-pocketer through which they trace an important link. The rest of Dishoom is all about how Kabir and Junaid solves the case. Watch Dishoom to know about the rest. 20

The first half of Dishoom has been just ok as the film has many unwanted episodes balanced with interesting scenes. The execution has been so bad that the film will be liked by those who leave their brains at home before entering the theatres. Some of the logics have been completely ignored however Varun Dhawan has taken charge and entertained the audience to the core. On the whole the first half has been decent. The second half of Dishoom is responsible for the film to fall flat. It fails in all the available ways as the director failed to keep the audience engaging. The entire film has been highly predictable and is boring.. John Abraham has been utterly wasted and some of the action episodes have been shot interesting. The antagonist in the film has been completely ignored which fails to balance the movie. On the whole, the second half of Dishoom is a total disappointment.

Kabali Analysis : Kabali starts on an interesting note and the first half of the movie makes the audience impressive because of some interesting and emotional episodes throughout the movie. Story : Kabali is the story of Kabaleeshwaran (Rajinikanth) who works as a daily labour in Malaysia. He stands beside the people and fights for them after which he emerges as a leader. An undigestable 43 Gang lead by Tony Lee (Winston Chao) opposes the acts of Kabali as he is against drugs and other illegal activities. An unexpected incident jails Kabali for over 25 years who misses his family and life. The rest of the film is how Kabali bounces back and roars against the evils. Watch Kabali to know about the movie.

Kabali starts on an interesting note and the first half of the movie makes the audience impressive because of some interesting and emotional episodes throughout the movie. Rajiniâ&#x20AC;&#x2122;s mannerisms and style impresses the audience big time though the film lacks in other departments. The songs of the film have been Tamil flavoured and the entertainment has been quite low. On the whole the first half of Kabali has been passable. The second half of the film lacks the needed interesting episodes throughout the film. Most of the episodes have been dragged too much that irritate the audience completely. Some of the interesting episodes have been narrated in a hurry that leave the audience in deep shock. The pre-climax of the film kill the entire movie and on the whole the second half of Kabali is a massive debacle and it fails to reach the expectations.

Selfie raja Selfie Raja is one more boring feast from Allari Naresh after a series of debacles and the movie too will join the list as it lacks proper script and an interesting narration. Story : Selfie Raja is the story of Selfie Raja (Allari Naresh) who gets married to the daughter (Kamna Ranawat) of the cityâ&#x20AC;&#x2122;s police commissioner (Nagineedu). The goons in the city who faces problems because of the city commissioner targets Selfie Raja after which he decides to kill himself. He hires a professional killer (Ravi Babu) after which his life takes a huge turn. The rest of the movie is what happens next and how Selfie Raja resolves all his problems forms the rest of the story. Watch Selfie Raja to know about it.

Many unwanted episodes take the major role in the movie and the audience will be left confused of the unwanted songs which come at regular intervals and disturb the flow. The climax has been decent and is the only saviour of the film. On the whole the second half of Selfie Raja pulls down the film by miles and ends up tragic.

Film-maker Ali Abbas Zafar has hit the jackpot with his third Bollywood film. "Sultan", a 170-minute wrestling saga starring Salman Khan and Anushka Sharma, is breaking box-office records this month and looks set to become the most successful Hindi film of all time.

numbers with 'Sultan'? A: Well, with a Salman Khan film, you are bound to do numbers. It is also to do with the love the audience is giving the film. As a director, you want your film to do well critically and commercially. (I am happy) it's got both. It has been reviewed well too.

Exclusive Interview Q: What goes into the making of a successful Salman Khan film? A: There are no rules. What works with him is that people love him and the star he is, so if you can continuously redefine him - within the periphery of what Salman Khan stands for, if he can do new roles, that is what always works. That is what we tried to do in "Sultan" - it has everything he stands for. He is singing, dancing, he is funny. But it has more logic to it. There is an inherent story that is running, which is very strong.

Q: What can you not do in a Salman Khan film? Is anything taboo? A: No. I did it in "Sultan". When he is completely out of shape. For a Salman Khan audience, that was the most shocking scene. He is the bible of body-building in this country. Every gym has his photograph. If the scene was not justified according to the story, people would have said we were creating an impact. But because of 34

"Sultan" - it has everything he stands for. He is singing, dancing, he is funny. But it has more logic to it. There is an inherent story that is running, which is very strong.

the emotional impact, you understand why he is broken. I believe that if you want a larger change, you need to make smaller changes first. In the next few films, people will start looking at him differently and that is because of the kind of films he is choosing.

Q: There has been a sudden increase in sports films in Bollywood now. Why? A: When the time is right, the genre just comes up in everyone's minds. The fact is the way we have started looking at sports has changed. When I was growing up, sports were a secondary thing. My dad and mom used to say - study first, play later. Today, parents are saying we want our kids to be a footballer, a sportsperson. Now it is a career option.

Now there is a lot of money coming in. Kabaddi, boxing, even football is doing well. It is only when a country shifts its focus to newer things, it becomes a newer avenue. The same thing happened with the Indian film industry. My reason for making a sports film is that sports movies always leave you hopeful. That is a great end to any story.

Q: What are your future projects? A: I have working on couple of scripts and will reveal about my next project soon. Salman Bhai signed one more film for me and things will be finalized once I narrate the plot.
