Finally he finds the person needed and watch the film on big screen to check out who stole the Kohinoor diamond and why is Hrithik in search of these people and who succeeds?

Bang Bang has good action sequences which are shown in the trailer. The chemistry between Hrithik and Katrina has been flavoured with all the ingredients. The boring drama and a bad screenplay makes the film fall down. Bang Bang is just an OK film. Not worth on big screen.
Happy New Year Story Charlie (Sharukh Khan) wants to take revenge on Grover (Jackie Shroff) as he has connected false to his father. Charlie makes a team of Charlie’s Angels and the team include Boman Irani (Safe Cracker), Abhishek Bachchan (Look Alike of Grover’s son), Sonu Sood (Bomb Expert) and Vivaan (Hacking Expert). They plan to rob Grover’s diamond from a hotel in Dubai during a dance participation in the hotel. The team ropes up a Bar Dancer Deepika for training them in dance. Slowly they start putting up things into action

Story Karthik (Nikhil) is a talented medical student who is interested in mysterious things happening before him. He falls in love with Valli (Swathi) who is a Dentist. Karthik and his team will be sent to Subramanyapuram for a medical camp where there is a temple that has been closed. Valli is a native of the same village and Karthik proposes to Valli. Karthik is highy interested to know the suspense behind the temple and the rest of the film is how Karthik knows about the suspense and re opens the temple and wins his love.

He manages to get his two daughters married and his daughter starts going to college. Raju (Manoj) is a graduate who has nothing to do except involving in others things in the village and he loves a college teacher Sunny (Sunny Leone) who gets married. Then he loves Kavitha (Rakul Preet Singh) who is the younger dauther of Sivarama Raju. The rest of the story is about how Raju wins his love and impresses her father.
Final Word
Manchu Manoj’s Current Theega has nothing new to offer except Manchu Manoj’s electrifying and Jagapathi Babu’s energetic performance. On the whole Current Theega is a routine flick and this movie’s result will be a lesson for Manoj to stay away from routine flicks.

6 Losers, their hunt for revenge and respect, is what Shah Rukh Khan’s ‘Happy New Year’ all about. This is the third film of Farah Khan with Shah Rukh after ‘Main Hoon Na’ [2004], ‘Om Shanti Om’ [2007]. That too ‘Happy New Year’ came after Farah and Shah Rukh’s reunion. This is also the third combination of Deepika Padukone with SRK. Also the Baadshah of Bollywood sizzled in 10 pack abs.

The film released for Diwali in grand hushhush style and also broke records that were set this year. Happy New Year collected Rs 44.97 crore in the first day which is an all time record and in the opening weekend, the film garnered Rs 109 crore pushing behind Aamir Khan’s ‘Dhoom 3.’ However, the film met with mixed to negative reviews overall. Despite all the odds, Happy New Year continues to rock the box office with massive collections.
Trivia: While working on Happy New Year, Farah Khan refused to take on any other projects that might distract her. She refused to choreograph for her brother Sajid Khan’s film Humshakals. She also didn’t choreograph Malaika for Dolly Ki Doli. According to a report in The Times of India, Arbaaz Khan requested her couple of times but Farah refused to choreograph the song. Dino Morea, Prabhu Deva, Sarah Jane Dias, Malaika Arora Khan, Vishal Dadlani, Anurag Kashyap, Sajid Khan, Anupam Kher and few others played guest role in the film. Senior actor Naseeruddin Shah’s son Vivaan Shah made a full-fledged role in this film. The distribution rights were sold to Yash Raj Films for Rs 1.25 billion, the satellite rights were sold to Zee Network for Rs 650 million and the music rights to T-Series for Rs 120 million, earning a total pre-release revenue of Rs 2.02 billion.
The film’s cast and crew, along with rapper Yo Yo Honey Singh and actress Madhuri Dixit traveled on a promotional tour titled “SLAM!”. Starting from 19 September in Houston, it took place in New Jersey, Washington, Toronto, Chicago, Vancouver and San Jose. SLAM! also continued to United Kingdom. John Abraham was supposed to play a parallel lead in the movie but could not as he had prior commitments. A major portion of the film was shot in the prestigious Atlantis, The Palm, Dubai. Emirates Airline has also played its role in flying the stars and crew to Dubai for the production, while the Dubai Department of Tourism and Commerce Marketing (DTCM) has provided extensive logistical support to facilitate the overall shoot of the film. Anushka’s second production Although her first home production ‘NH-10’ is yet to hit the theatres, Anushka Sharma is already rolling out her second venture. Anushka who owns ‘Clean Slate Films’ production house with brother Karnesh Sharma, will flag off their second project. It will be directed by Navdeep Singh and written by Sudip Sharma. Anushka’s maiden production venture “NH-10” is also directed by Navdeep and the screenplay is written by Sudip. The movie is about a road trip that went wrong.
Katrina to romance Villain? Bollywood’s ‘Barbie Doll’ Katrina Kaif and ‘Ek Villain’ actor Sidharth Malhotra might pair for Farhan Akhtar and Ritesh Sidhwani’s next pet project. The film will be a romantic love saga which will mark the directorial debut for Nitya Mehra. Initially Aamir Khan was considered for the role, it seems after Aamir decided to opt out, the film has landed in Sidharth’s pocket. if things fall in place, it would be an interesting pair to watch on screen, we believe! 22

Doctors treated her and discharged from the hospital on the same day. Lisa Haydon who feature in Kangana Ranaut’s ‘Queen’ received good appreciation for her role.

Dia Mirza enters wedlock Former beauty queen Dia Mirza is finally Mrs Sahil Sangha! She married her long time beau and business partner Sahil Sangha in a lavish ceremony at a farmhouse in Ghittorni, New Delhi. The 32 year old actress had got engaged to Sahil in New York earlier this year during the IIFA awards. However the biggest disappointment for Dia is, actor Boman Irani skipped the wedding who was supposed to do ‘kanyadaan.’ Dia and Boman relation grew during the making of Lage Raho Munnabhai and she approached Boman to perform the ritual. Ranveer Singh goes bald Actor Ranveer Singh shaved his head for his next project ‘Bajirao Mastani’ which will be directed by Sanjay Leela Bhansali. Ranveer plays Peshwa Bajirao in the epic period romance and had to go bald for the film. As the shooting is due to start in a short while, Ranveer is preparing himself for the film. ‘Bajirao Mastani’ will also feature Deepika Padukone and Priyanka Chopra in the female lead rolesand will release in December next year.

Analysis : The main highlight of the film is the simplicity in the concept and narrating it with lot of entertainment. The first of the film starts introducing the characters and once they are explained, the movie turns out into entertainment mode. The movie continues its pace till the interval and the movie ends up with a highly entertaining first half. The second half of the movie starts slow and the movie has good entertainment in the second half too as the first half. The movie becomes predictable at times but the entertainment makes the film tight and the characters played by the cast have been well written so that they end up doing their best. The second half of the movie has high entertainment elements too and the climax ends up lavishly.
Performance Sharukh Khan has done his best performance and he has suited well in the character of Charlie. He has done the comedy with lot of ease and the diolague delivery of Sharukh should have a special mention. Abhishek deserves a special mention for his tapori ‘Nandu’ act. Deepika Padukone adds one more superb film with her performance with her Marathi accent. Her dance movements have been superb. Sonu Sood have been seen doing some superb dance movements. The story of the film is very simple and it has been narrated adding lot of entertainment. The screenplay of the movie has been very good and the photography of the film is top notch. The choreography of the movie should have a special mention and the music is an asset for the film. The production values have been very rich and the huge erected sets, stunning locations are the examples for the best production values. With some sensible hits already in her list, Farah Khan adds one more suberb film with some decent narration in which she completely succeeds. 30

Analysis : The movie has nothing new to offer and the first half of the film starts with the introduction of the main characters and with some fun along with the hero’s introduction. The first half goes on at a smoother pace to some extent but the movies becomes predictable as the real challenge has been narrated when the film starts. The songs have been decent and the comedy by the hero’s friends brings laughs rarely. On the whole the first half ends on an Ok note. The second half of the film starts on a dull note and the movie dips down badly going through. The movie becomes highly predictable and drives out of the actual path. The songs are just ok and the second half lacks entertainment. The same comedy track has been repeated and the movie loses interest completely. The climax has an electrifying fight which gives some relief but the climax again ends on a simple note and the movie loses the impact of a good film totally.
Performance Manchu Manoj who has proved already comes up with one more electrifying performace. The fights performed by him have been impressive. Jagapathi Babu is the life for the film and he performs with ease as Sivarama Raju. His body language has perfectly suited the character and his screen presence has been mind blowing. Rakul Preet Singh impresses everyone once again with her performance as well as with her glamour show. Vennela Kishore, Dhanaraj and others have been impressive. The story has nothing new to offer and the screenplay has been poor. The dioalgues have been just ok and the photography has been decent. The music has been the highlight of Current Theega and the background scrore elevates the movie. The production values have been decent and so is the editing. The director has chosen an old story and tried to narrate it with some electrifying performers. G Nageshwar Reddy failed completely in executing the film and the second half has been too low to become an average flick. 34

My father(Thanikella Bharani) is a Priest, in the movie. So you can imagine how orthodoxical is our family in the movie. But the way I look at home and the college are different, in the movie. After Swamy Ra Ra, you are paired up with Nikhil again. Is it willingly done or just a coincidence? Nikhil heard the story first and then me. May be due to the success of Swamy Ra Ra or may be because I am a Telugu girl, whatever might be the reason behind, our director Chandu and producer Srinivas had both decided to make the movie with us. Manoj Manchu’s Current Theega will supposedly be his best. The actor is elated about his upcoming movie and is also very excited with the way his Tollywood career is shaping up. In a recent interview with the star, he expressed about his role in Current Theega and what makes his move the movie. The movie was scheduled to release but the makers have announced that they have decided to postpone the release due to the Hudhud cyclone that has adversely affected Coastal Andhra.
Why did you choose to do a remake? Initially, we worked on a different script and when we are ready to go on sets, somebody suggested us to watch “Varuthapadatha Valibar Sangam.” We watched the film and immensely liked it and went out to Vishnu as he was keen to produce a film with me. He bought the rights and hence, the project materialized. Then, what changes have you made to the script. We made a lot of changes to the script, especially in action sequences. We slightly changed the characterizations to suit our native style and look. Comedy scenes will also be funnier for the Telugu audience. We also removed some scenes to save the run time. Tell us about your role. I am playing Raju in this movie. In my past movies, I played young-boyish characters but in this movie it will be a manly, mature character. It will be very energetic and at the same time, funnier. About Jagapathi Babu’s role. When we were working for this film, our first choice was Jagapathi Babu. He too liked this script and Okay-ed our project. It is like a back bone character to the script.

Our confrontations scenes will be among the highlights. Whose idea was it to bring Sunny Leone to Tollywood? We had an exotic character in Current Theega and my friend gave me this idea. On hearing this, our whole team was very excited. We told this to production team and they approached her. Our film has got a special pump because of her. Your films and your family films, even lot of others faced lot of problems with the censor board chief. What is your feeling now, as she got transferred? I also faced a lot of problems from her, especially for Nokia. Irony is that, Current Theega was censored before her transfer. I think that, there will be some positive changes and development in future. About Achu’s music direction. I have a special bonding with Achu. I met Achu at the time of Krishnarjuna and got a close rapport with him. Total credit for this audio album goes to Achu only. What are your future projects? I am doing a film with a new comer and for another; I’m attempting a negative role for the first time. I will update about this later.

Every body, who has watched the film has passed positive comments about the movie. I am just hoping that every body likes Current Theega.

After the much successful Vishwaroopam, Kamal disappeared from the silver screen and more good news for the fans as he is coming with three films in the year 2015. “Uttama Villain”, “Papanasam” and “Vishwaroopam”, which have all been wrapped up, are likely to hit the theatres through the course of next year. Over the last one and half year Kamal was shooting non-stop for two projects, he’s unlikely to have a release this year. His first release of 2015 in all probability will be ‘Uttama Villain’ and soon followed by Papanasam. Kamal is currently busy with the post-production work on these
films. The second part of Vishwaroopam will be the third release of 2015. He stopped working on Vishwaroopam 2 after he got busy with the other two films. Some computer graphics work is pending on the film and will resume its work after the release of Papanasam. Kamal will soon be flying to the US where he will be helping his technicians to take care of the sound mixing of Uttama Villain. The studio, which is in Los Angeles was used for Vishwaroopam as well. Hope Kamal scores success with all three films in 2015 and fly high. Also we wish him to come up with more unique concepts.

Prakash Productions were making a film ‘Kanna Thalli’ [Dated: 16-4-1953] starring ANR and the prominent music director Pendyala asked Nyapati Raghavarao who is a host of Balanandam Kids program in All India Radio of Madras station, to send some new female singers to sing a group song for that film. Then Raghavarao suggest Susheela’s name and that’s how she sang her first ever song in a feature film. In the very same film, Susheela crooned a duet song too. From here, Susheela’s career went for a smooth ride and also lent her vocals to other languages too. But it was those days when Mughal-E-Azam was made with big budget in Hindi and Tamil simultaneously. Music director of the film Naushad wrapped her Hindi songs with Lata Mangeshkar who was already a well established singer then. But for the Tamil version, somebody suggested Susheela’s name to Naushad. Somehow, he called upon Susheela and Jikki to Mumbai. He was surprised and thrilled by Susheela and Jikki approach and singing skills. Without thinking further, Naushad made Susheela sing all the Tamil version songs.
During 1960 to 1985, Susheela was the undisputed lead female singer across all the south Indian language films putting all the older veteran singers to the background. During this period, Susheela won five national awards in singing and plenty of state awards from both Andhra Pradesh and Tamil Nadu states. However, with advent of new singers, Susheela slowed down bit from mid 80s but top music composers like Ilaiyaraaja and MS Vishwanathan preferred her. Susheela also concentrated more on stage shows across the Globe where many associations world wide invited her to perform for their organised shows. She recorded more than 1000 devotional songs for various audio companies. In the year 2006, Filmfare greeted her with Lifetime Achievement Award and in the year 2008, she formed a trust which has monthly pension payment scheme through which few musicians were benefited. In the same year, government of India honoured her with ‘Padma Bhushan.’

In Telugu Anushka has Rudhramadevi and Baahubali which are touted to be the massive films ever made in Tollywood history. Sweety, as she is called, wrapped up Rudhramadevi shooting and currently the post-production works are briskly going on. Rudhramadevi will also hit the screens for December and it has immense expectations as the film is being made on Kakatiya administration ruler Rudrama Devi. In Baahubali, Anushka will be seen as as a warrior princess, Devasena. The late buzz in the K-town is that Anushka Shetty was as of late offered a motion picture but she declined to take it up, saying that she is fully dedicated to her assignments. A Classic C om edy! ‘Navvu oka bhogam, Navvaleka povatam oka rogam’, said the legendary director Jandhyala. It means, laughter is a luxury of life and those who cannot laugh are sort of having a sickness. The master director, Jandhyala is popular for his healthy family comedy dramas. His movies are kind of laughter therapy for the audience.
Aha Naa Pellanta (1987) is one such film from the great movie maker’s kitty. The story is pretty simple and the comedy is brought out through amazing characterization of artistes Rajendra Prasad, Nuthan Prasad, Kota Srinivas Rao, Brahmanandam and Sutthi Veerabhadra Rao. All of them excelled in their respective roles and provided rib-tickling performances. Female lead was played by Rajani. This film was directed by Jandhyala and
produced by Movie Moghul, D. Ramanaidu under his prestigious banner Suresh Productions. This is regarded as a classic Telugu comedy. The film’s title is the title of a song from the classic hit film Mayabazar (1957). The original song and its video from Mayabazar play during the opening credits. The film’s plot is Krishna Murthy (Rajendra Prasad), son of rich industrialist
Satyanarayana (Nutan Prasad) falls in love with Padma (Rajani). When Krishna’s father learns that Padma is the daughter of a greedy miser Lakshmipathy (Kota Srinivasa Rao), he challenges his son to convince Lakshmipathy to marry his daughter without revealing that he belongs to a rich family. The rest of the story is about Krishna’s efforts to impress Lakshmipathy by acting like a miser himself.

Jandhyala, the master director was the first to introduce funny characteristic traits to the characters which later on become a trend. Especially the miser character played by Kota Srinivas Rao became a trend setter. The iconic chicken scene needs a special mention here, where the miser relish plain boiled rice staring at a live hanging chicken. The character of Nutan Prasad, who gives a long lecture about his family history to every person who says that he doesn’t recognize him. Laksmipathy’s brother in law played by late Sutthi Veerabhadra Rao, who behaves madly whenever he gets disgusted with the Lakshmipathy’s stupid ways to save money. Thus, these characters became household names then and made the movie a classic. It was released on 27 November 1987. It was both critically and commercially well received.It was believed to be made at a budget of Rs.8 lakhs and have collected more than Rs. 80 lakhs. It was then considered to be a small budget, but big hit film. More than what it has collected, Aha Naa Pellanta has a special place in the hearts of the Telugu movie audience.
This film gave birth to one of the finest comedians of our time, Brahmananda who played the role of ‘Ara Gundu’. He made his acting debut with this film as Lakshmipathy’s servant. His character gives audience stomach ache with laughter. His expressions for the mind-voice for the silly deeds of his miser master played by Kota Srinivas Rao were hilarious.
