Sunny Deol gives a threatening and extremely angry performance as the honest collecter. There could be no doubt in the fact of appreciation from audience. On the other hand, newcomer Urvashi Rautela is refreshing and looks promising. At the same time Amrita Rao gives a good performance. The evil character portrayed by Prakash Raj looks convincing. The rest of the cast has done a good work for the movie.
STORY “Singh Saab The Great” tells us about Saranjit Singh Talwar(Sunny Deol) who’s an honest collector out to reform society. A character who’s spontaneous and takes pride in his honesty, he loves his family and is ready to do things that are morally right. The central theme of “Singh Saab The Great” is “Badla Nahin, Badlav”. Saranjit’s honesty is not
acceptable to Bhoodev Singh (Prakash Raj), leading to rivalry with him. Finally, Saranjit is framed in a case and blamed to guilty of bribery. He decides to fight the injustice and dominant corruption not by revenge but by reforming society. Saranjit keeps it in thought that there is nothing great in revenge but the challenge lies in forgiving.

STORY The story of Gori Tere Pyaar Mein is about Sriram Venkat (Imran Khan), a young architect and his struggle to cross a bridge... a bridge that bridges the love and gap between two people.

Venkat is attracted to Dia (Kareena Kapoor), a passionate, strong-headed, young activist from Delhi. However Sriram realizes that he is not over Dia and still loves her and that she is the best change that ever happened... and will happen to his life. Main aim of the movie is to entertain audience with comedy scenes but the very comedy part has failed horribly. Out of all Rasas, Hasya Rasa is the toughest to perform.

Only Venkatesh’s performance and Ram’s dances and Jaya Prakash Reddy’s variety role are worth seeing. Heroines have no scope to show their acting talent. Even the Venkatesh’s funny dialogues of English were felt exaggerated some times to irritate rather than amusing. Brahmanandam, MS Narayana and Ali gave some relief from boring but they were understandably given only short time.
STORY Masala Movie is a Makki ki makki remake of Bol Bachchan without adding any Telugu flavor to it. Rahman (Ram) and Sania (Anjali) are siblings whose property is in dispute in the courts. As living at their native place became difficult for them as Rahaman do not have a job to survive. They leave the place for Bheemarajapuram where Balaram (Venkatesh) lives. Balaram is a powerful person in the village who can
never tolerate a person telling a lie but Rahman tells lies forced by the situation and goes on telling lies to cover previous lies. It makes his life miserable and a laughing subject to the audience as the film makers aimed. What happens to Rahman who made his name as Ram when the truth has to be spilled is something to be seen on screen.

The credit for running a successful show goes to debutant director Merlapaka Gandhi, who has managed to get everything best in place. STORY Irandam Ulagam has two separate worlds and it is about the stories that unfold in a parallel universe. Ramya (Anusha Shetty) has a liking towards Madhu Balakrishnan (Arya), but he initially refuses her offer for marriage. But in the dream world, Arya tries to woo Anushka. After turning down Ramya’s offer, Madhu falls in love with her and approaches her to marry her, but this
time, she rejects his offer citing that she has found another man. How he tries to win her heart and change her stand form the crux of their story. In the other world, Arya struggles to impress Anushka, who is a tough woman. There is also a plot of two clans fighting over Amma (mother love). The story takes a little interesting turn when Arya, on Earth, meets the people of other world.

ANALYSIS Firstly, the credit for churning out a brilliant movie should go to director and newcomer Deepan Chakravarthy. Performance wise, Ashok Selvan and Sanchita Shetty are just okay. The biggest hero is editor Leo John Paul. His crisp editing stands out as a winner.
STORY Jebin (Ashok Selvan) is a aspiring writer. He finds it difficult to get a publisher and his father’s untimely death makes him emotionally weak. His girlfriend Aarthi (Sanchita Shetty) does her best to motivate him and keeps his spirits high. His father has left behind a villa, which he came to know from his family lawyer. At this juncture, Jebin decides to publish his debut novel on his own by selling the villa for a fancy price. Well, when he visits the house, he likes it very much. He changes his mind and decides to keep the villa for himself. When he plans to start his work on second novel in the villa, his life takes an ugly turn and leads to more unfortunate incidents.

STORY Rohini Pranab (Shobhana), who apart from her job of a doctor also runs an organisation for women which acts against women trafficking and helps orphaned girls. Things get into trouble when some girls from the organisation get kidnapped. Rohini sets out on a mission to find those
who are behind her husband’s murder and who have trafficked the girls. On the same path, we are introduced to Naveen (Dhyan Sreenivasan), who is in search of his kidnapped sister. Naveen and Rohini meet by chance and come to know that they have the same goal. Rest of the movie focuses on their mission to find the lost ones.

Nadan is a treat to the movie lovers, with neat direction, pleasing music; and adding to that, excellent cinematography and some spectacular performances make the movie more impressive.
STORY Devadas, who is not happy with his marital life, is living separately from his wife Sudharma (Sajitha Madathil) and his children Priyamvadha (Malavika Menon) and Malu. In the flashback scenes, we are shown how the happily living family got separated. Devadas falls in love with Jyothi (Remya Nambeesan), who joins the troupe as a new lead female artist, which causes Sudharama to leave him. Rest of the movie deals with the tragedy Devadas faces in his personal and professional life.
ANALYSIS Jayaram has carried the role of Devadas to sheer perfection Remya Nambeesan as Jyothi and Sajitha Madathil as Sudharama are okay in their roles. Music by Ouseppachan is perfect with apt BGMs and songs that syncs well to the mood of the movie. Other sections too, be it the make-up or costumes, all are well fitted and suit the characters.

STORY The movie starts with the love story of Ajay (Yogesh) and Arundathi (Bhama). They find difficulty to express their love as they are shy. Like every other romantic movies, here also there is an obstacle in the form of a villain played by Tilak, who will be locking horns with Ajay to win the heart of Arundathi.

Ramya Krishna, who gets to know the status of Priya, tries to separate her from Siddharth, without her son’s knowledge.
ANALYSIS Sweety Nanna Jodi is another feminist movie with Vijay Lakshmi Singh’s direction. The audience will not be disappointed because it is filled with two glamorous queens - Radhika Kumarswamy and Ramya Krishna.
Aditya has played the role of a helpless man, who gets caught in between the catfight of his mother and love
Radhika is seen as a modern girl. This movie comes to her as a big break as she has proved that she is still young enough to play the female lead in Kannada movies. Vijaylakshmi Singh is not only successful in giving comeback to Radhika, but also for Ramya Krishna with the movie.

INTERVIEW WITH RAM You seem to have a very fresh look in the film… Yes. Basically my character has two shades in this film and if you have seen ‘Bol Bachchan’, you will realise why I have a very different look in the film.
You have worked with a senior hero like Venkatesh for the first time. How did you feel? Was there any nervousness? No, I was not nervous. I was excited. Everyone looks at things in their own way. For example, if someone is getting ready to do a bungee jump, he/she might feel excited or nervous. It is just the way you look at things. I basically get excited when I do such stuff. I had a great experience with Venkatesh garu. I enjoyed doing the comedy scenes with him.
What are your upcoming projects? Honestly, I have not decided anything. I am buying scripts and keeping them aside. I am also listening to big banners and directors also. Tollywood is currently giving more importance to combinations rather than scripts. I do not want to fight that trend. I will go with it but at the same time, I would like to do some things my way.
What do you look for in a script? I really don’t know. If I like a script, I can tell you minute details even after a year. But if I don’t like it, I just can’t remember anything about it. When someone narrates a script, I will think about 4 – 5 different ways in which the story can move forward. If the narrator comes up with a 6th way, I probably will get excited about it. I personally like entertainment a lot.
Do flops upset you? In the days after ‘Jagadam’, I was quite depressed. “preminchina ammay ni intlo oppukokapothe, entha depression ostundha ala undedhi” (Laughs). My career has a lots of ups and downs, like the Indian Stock Market. I am more balanced now and I keep learning from my mistakes.
Any regrets? I can’t call them regrets, but the most difficult phase for an actor is when he knows that the film will bomb but is hoping that he is wrong. When I sign a film, I trust either the script or the director. Convince me or get convinced. I may not like what a director says, but I might go ahead because I trust the director’s capability. Some of them have not worked out, but no regrets. (Smiles)
Who is your anchor in life? From an industry perspective, pedananna garu is there. I am very close to my family. Basically, an actor needs balance. There are instances where it is easy for you to snap. For example, a relative might be dead but I might need to go and do a comedy scene. So, there will be moments of eccentricity for an actor.
How do you spend your free time ? I spend a lot of time with my family. I also try to come up with new concepts, be it in dance or with respect to scenes etc. I feel relaxed when I do that. WWW.CINESPRINT.COM | December 2013 51

Was there any doubt in your mind when you were offered the script? I would have hated it if someone else got to play my character. The minute I heard the script, I was floored. And I told myself there was no way I am missing this opportunity.
The schedule in Georgia must have been one experience The biggest storm in Georgia happened when we were there and the President had to come down to give the citizens moral support. It was also the first time that I shot at a place that was so cut off from civilisation. We were shooting at Datlo, which is seven hours away from Telavi, and even to buy basic necessities, we had to travel back to the city. The road that leads to this place is also interesting; it’s hidden by waterfall and we had to wait for the right moment to cross it!
Tell us about the characters you play One of the roles I play is that of a doctor. She is head-over-heels in love with the hero, and is always behind him. The other character I play is a lot stronger. She’s very different, rebellious and outspoken.

he Solkan Bridge is a 220-metre (720 ft) arch bridge over the Soča River near Nova Gorica in western Slovenia. With an arch span of 85 metres (279 ft), it is the second-longest stone bridge in the world and the longest stone bridge among train bridges. NTR is single and unemployed, making ends meet by tutoring a Government officer’s kid. A debt ridden Savitri also teaches the same kid. When a transfer makes the family move out of town, both NTR and Savitri become pennyless. Their need for a job brings them to SVR’s charity school for villiage kids. The school is being run by SVR in memory of his missing daughter, Mahalakshmi. ANR happens to be his nephew, who makes it his goal to bring the missing Mahalakshmi back.
SVR wants a married couple to teach his other daughter Jamuna traditional music and dance. NTR convinces Savitri to pretend they are married in order to earn a living. They begin a life of teaching and slowly fall in love. Ramana Reddy then enters their life with the intention to marry Savitri. He claims to clear her debts and also shows the letter and pendant that Savitri leaves with her family in childhood. In a twist of events, ANR discovers that the pendant belongs to Mahalakshmi, proving that Savitri is the missing daughter.
