Final Word Daawat-E-Ishq dodges you with tall promises of serving a great food film or even a good film. But it’s diet food variety of cinema that is neither healthy nor nutritious and leaves you famished by the end of it. Parineeti and Aditya despite their earnest performances cannot bring the needed charm to the film.
Khoobsurat Story Dr. Mili Chakraborthy (Sonam) is a happy-go-lucky and lively physiotherapist who gets a chance to go to a royal palace to treat a king in a town in Rajasthan. Mili enthusiastically takes up the offer to go to the palace, but little does she know that the place is all about obeying rules and regulations set up the Queen. Here she meets the King’s son Yuvraj Vikram Singh (Fawad Khan) and falls for him.

Story Venky (Gopichand) is a fun going guy who helps Babji’s (Sampath Raj) elder sister to escape from Warangal. Babji will be in search of Venky and his sister. Venky shifts to Hyderabad and he meets Chandra Kala (Rakul Preet) and falls in love with her. The real problem starts here as Chandra Kala will be the younger sister of Babji and she stays with Satya (Rahul Dev) for her studies. Coming to know that Chandra Kala is in love, her brother Babji takes back to Warangal. The rest of the story is how Venky solves all the problems and wins his love.

Final Word Loukyam is yes a movie with a routine plot, but it is a hilarious laugh riot from start to end. Gopichand and Rakul Preet steal the show. Comedy, Photography and Songs are the assets for the film. A Pure and Clean Comedy and Family Entertainer for sure. A much needed hit for Gopi and Srivaas. Go watch it, you will come out with a smiling face and you will not be disappointed.
Aagadu Story
Encounter specialist Shankar (Mahesh Babu) is posted to a small town called Bukkapattanam. The entire area is dominated by a dreaded don called Damodar (Sonu Sood), who runs illegal businesses by threatening the poor. Shankar decides to take things in his hands, and starts planning Damodar’s decline. Midway through, he comes to know about a shocking truth about Damodar, which relates back to his family.
Final Word AAGADU is Mahesh’s One Man Show all over. First half has Race, Pace, Comedy and Fights. Second half resembles us of the previous Sreenu Vaitla’s movies and similar Comedy Tracks make the second half fall down. On the whole Aagadu ends as an OK film. Watch it for Mahesh and his Comedy Timing.

Story Chitra lakshmanan takes the lead to the family followed by Manobala and Kovai Sarala and their son Nithin Sathya. Lakshmi Rai comes in as Chitra lakshmanan’s daughter and Vinay walks in along with his spouse Andrea as part of the family. The movie story starts in a palace that is for sale and the royal family is back to the palace after long years to renovate it sans any legal issues.

Aadama Jaichomada Story Aadama Jaichomada is a full length comedy movie with some interesting and real facts based and spot fixing in IPL. Definitely Aadama jaichomada will satisfy every set of audience. Its going to be a big treat for the audience on summer holidays. There really isn’t a story in “Aadama Jaichomada” to rave about. It follows a bookie, Dhayalan (Balaji), who plans to buy a bowler ahead of a semi-final cricket match.

Another scene to watch is when K.S. Ravi Kumar narrates the ‘Anattamai’ story. K T N was a man who led a very different life by breaking all social norms and disappeared at the age of 30.
Final Word Dulquer Salmaan shines as K T N Kottur and Ravi. The actor breaks his boy next door image and delivers his best performance till date. He proves that he have that spark to be a brilliant performer.

Sonam’s ‘Khoobsurat’ is a hit After a slow start at the box office, Sonam Kapoor and Fawad Khan’s film ‘Khoobsurat’ picked up and rounded off a good first week. The film was made with a budget of Rs.12 crore budget, it hit 800 domestic screens on September 19. In India, it has collected Rs.19.10 crore in one week. It also released in 18 international territories like North America, Britain and Pakistan on across nearly 300 screens and minted over $2 million. The positive mouth talk worked for Sonam and finally the film is declared a hit.
Deepika in a ‘Cleavage’ row Deepika Padukone lashed at ‘Times of India’ for publishing a demeaning piece of news about her dressing at an event and that too in social media platform Twitter. When Deepika read the tweet she lost her calm and gave the news portal a befitting reply in a series of tweets. But this did not end here. In reply to Deepika’s tweets, Times of India said it is a compliment. However, Deepika took it on Facebook and urged the media to respect the private space of a celebrity. This time, the leading daily took it quite serious and replied to Deepika calling her a hypocrite. Bollywood did not appreciate this move and came down hugely in TOI. 22

Kareena, the poor GK actress Bollywood’s one of the most successful actress Kareena Kapoor Khan had no clue about India’s space achievement. At a hair product launch, Kareena was asked by a media person about satellite Mangalyaan entering into the Mars orbit. Kareena’s reaction was, “What!!??” with eyeballs popping out. Analysis : The first half is only filled with her boxing matches and also contains a few incomplete elements of Mary’s life from her childhood to her pregnancy. Merely a few minutes in the movie and Priyanka has already become a three time world champion. The second half on the other hand has a few unbelievable elements including the part where Mary’s husband tells her about her son’s illness just before her match. The movie lacks immensely in the technical department and the songs of the film are just average and leave no impact as such. Another irritating factor about the film are the in-your-face advertisements and the actors are seen promoting a product or brand in every scene of the film.
Performance Priyanka Chopra has done full justice to her job. She acts amazingly well and her hard work and determination shows very clearly in the film. Hats off to the make-up artist who has made her look somewhat like Mary. Even her coach played by Sunil Thapa and her on-screen husband Darshan Kumar have put enough effort to do justice to their respective roles. The last twenty minutes of the film with the training session and the last match was the only interesting part of the film. Debutante Omung focuses more on telling a story that is already known rather than emphasizing on her personal struggles and her rise in the boxing field. Direction by Omung is not up-to-the mark. He has not put in any effort to make his best debut film memorable. In fact the weak direction also makes the characters appear dull at quite a few places. The screenplay of the film jumps awkwardly and the editing is too weak. 30

Final Word Overall, a legend like Mary Kom sure deserved a film that captured her story, struggles and sacrifices in the best way possible. And unlike other biopics made in Bollywood, this film however does not come close to being epic. it only deserves a onetime watch only for Priyanka and her hard work that she has put in.

Analysis Homi Adajania’s Finding Fanny although, is not a comedy film but the movie offers several moments which will certainly bring a giggle on to your face. At a time, when typical Bollywood ‘masala’ films make steady run towards 100 crore club, the off-beat movie Finding Fanny makes an attempt to highlight human emotions in a rather quirky manner. While, Arjun and Deepika offered some sensuous romantic moments, the elderly characters appeared rather funny in their lusty desires. There are a couple of funny one-liners which may not make you laugh out loud but will make you pleasantly cackle.

The cleavage row between Deepika Padukone and one of the biggest daily in India, Times of India has started with a tweet. TOI tweeted a link with a video clip showing Padukone‘s cleavage shot from a high angle. The ‘Finding Fanny’ soon lashed out at this news and many of her industry friends and colleagues took her stand. “YES! I am a Woman. I have breasts AND a cleavage! You got a problem!!??” posted Deepika which was re-tweeted more than 7,000 times. Later #IStandWithDeepikaPadukone has been India’s top Twitter trend for hours and the actress is being lauded for taking on the Times of India. However, the newspaper in a bid to do some damage control said on Twitter, “@deepikapadukone , It’s a compliment! You look so great that we want to make sure everyone knew! :)” This reply from Times of India ignited the fire and the controversy got bigger than somebody could expect. Deepika then took it on Facebook and suggested that the media blurs the lines between what’s “reel and real”, alluding to her on-screen and off-screen personas, to create “cheap headlines”. She accused the media of highlighting women’s sexuality in a way that their male counterparts don’t have to contend with. Again Times of India defended its stand and this time, it hit back hard at Deepika. TOI called Deepika called her hypocrite and also said it was a mere public stunt just to get more crowd for recent release ‘Finding Fanny.’ The story was featured a series of the images with the intention of proving its point. “Deepika, we accept your reel vs real argument, but what about all the times, and there have been many, when you have flaunted your body off screen — while dancing on stage, posing for magazine covers, or doing photo ops at movie promotional functions? What ‘role’ do you play there? So why the hypocrisy?” said writer Priya Gupta. However, the writer accepted that the headline could have been better, in online journalism “sensational headlines are far from uncommon”. Another leading daily stepped in action to end the controversy. The most conservative ‘The Hindu’ has put out an open letter from their end on the whole controversy. They have addressed it to TOI and have posted it in their blog section. In fact we can say, ‘The Hindu’ rescued Deepika and reminded the media should have limits. “There are still limits to what can be published online and what cannot. By merely brushing aside the problem by stating that “the online world… is chaotic and cluttered — and sensational headlines are far from uncommon,” you’re being unapologetic about your mistakes. Is Deepika doing this for publicity? I don’t know, but it can be safe to say that people are asking you the same question. All you could have done was considered her response and feelings and apologised. Or really, just kept quiet,” posted The Hindu.

GOVINDUDU ANDARIVADELE Ram Charan’s Govindudu Andarivadele was launched amidst huge fan fare recently. Yuvan Shankar Raja has composed music for this film, which is directed by Krishna Vamsi. SONG 1: NELIRANGU CHEERALONA The first song in the album is Neelirangu Cheeralona, which is sung by the versatile Hariharan. Yuvan Shankar Raja elevates the song with his soulful and yet hummable tune. What makes this song tick are the meaningful lyrics by Suddala Ashok Teja which showcase the various phases of love in life. SONG 2: GULABI KALLU The second song in the album is Gulabi Kallu, which is probably the best song in the album. This number has a entertaining tune, and once again the concentration is on the lyrics which depict the romantic feel between the lead par. Bolywood singer Javed Ali croons this number in a superb tone and gives a special edge to this number. SONG 3:- RA RAKUMARA Moving on, the third song in the album is Ra Rakumara. Sung by the super talented Chinmayee, this number is a hardcore romantic song. The tune is quite laid back, and predicts the passion between the lead pair. This is a kind of a song which will hit you more, once you watch its video. SONG 4:- PRATICHOTA NAKE SWAGATAM The fourth song is Pratichota Nake Swagatam, which is Ram Charan’s introduction song. Yuvan Shankar Raja and Krishna Vamsi intentionally keep the feel of the movie through their songs. Yuvan’s tune is quite native and lovable. Right from the lyrics to the emotions in this song, everything is foot tapping. SONG 6: KOKODI The last song of the album is the theme song of Aagadu. An interesting remix of all the dialogues and song tunes from the film, this number is just the icing on the cake for this entertaining album. VERDICT: On the whole with Govindudu Andarivadele, Yuvan Shankar Raja breaks away from the commercial format and gives quite a feel good music album. Gulabi Kallu, Baava Gari Choope and Pratichota Nake Swagatam are our picks and will be liked by everyone. Finally, GAV’s music will surely grow on you once you watch Krishna Vamsi’s beautiful visuals on screen.

Ravi Teja always wants to work on different roles, but his experiments have yielded mixed results and we know them too. Hero Srikanth has been in industry for a while and did wide range of characters in his filmy career. A huge fan of Megastar Chiranjeevi, stepped into Tollywood initially as villain and later emerged as hero. Srikanth had good hits to his credits and he desire to act opposite to Chiranjeevi fulfilled with Shankar Dada series. His role of ATM and abider of Shankar’s [Chiranjeevi] decision, has impressed many. Now Srikanth is overjoyed as he shared screen space with Mega Powerstar Ram Charan Tej in Govindudu Andarivadele. His experience of working with Ram Charan and all the details of the film in this own words. Tell us about your role in Govindudu Andarivadele ? I will be seen as Ram Charan’s uncle called Bangari in the film. My character will be quite entertaining and has slight differences with his dad which is played by Prakash Raj. My role is an out and out village back drop and you find my styling quite weird. Is your role a negative one in the film ? It is not an out an out negative role, but it has few shades of being rebel. My character has a lot of jealousy but it has a purpose that you see on the silver screen. How was it working with Krishna Vamsi ? Oh ! it was a wonderful experience working with him. He is a master at making family entertainers, and even with GAV he has proved it once again. It is my third film and I’m happy he picked me for the role. How was it working under the production of Badla Ganesh ? I knew Ganesh from the days of Vinodam. The way he has come up in life is extremely inspiring. He has not compromised on the production values, and you can see it in every frame of the film. Even though the budget was increasing, Ganesh did not go back and we saw fire in his eyes to give Charan a huge hit. I hope it will definitely happen. You have worked with both father and son. What major difference did you find between the two ? I know Charan very closely and was a bit apprehensive as to how he would behave on the sets. But he was so professional and polite person, this he reminded of Chiranjeevi garu who just the same. Acting wise, both of them have quite a different approach in their style. You can’t really compare Chiranjeevi and Charan. For me both are very good actors. Would you be more open to doing multi-starrers from now on ? Oh yes, why not ?. I would love to do films with every hero in the industry. As of now, I have four films lined up as a solo hero. Hope GAV film will bring in more offers for me. Ok Srikanth thank you! Bye!

ever imagined a boy from director Shankar’s ‘BOYS’ movie would become the number one composer of not Tollywood but also Kollywood. He is none other than Ghantasala Sai Srinivas Thaman Siva Kumar shortly called as SS Thaman. Born in Telugu Brahmin family, his father Ghantasala Siva Kumar is a drummer who worked for famous music director, Chakravarthy. His mother Ghantasala Savitri is a famous playback singer. Thaman’s grandfather Ghantasala Balaramayya is a revered director cum producer who introduced Akkineni Nageswara to Tollywood in Seetarama Jananam movie.

haman had to stop studies at tender age due to the financial troubles that followed after his father’s death. So at the age of 9, Thaman joined Ilaiyaraja’s brother as a rhythm pads player and at 13 he joined Raj-Koti team. Thaman worked for three years with the team and worked for sixty odd films. Later he joined M. M. Keeravani where he worked for three years on thirty films. Then it was Manisharma’s turn. Thaman worked for six and a half years with Manisharma and helped out his hand in eighty films.

uring this very period, Thaman developed good experience in music and also increased his contact with many filmmakers, directors and young heroes. He also worked for AR Rehman, Harris Jairaj, Vandemataram Srinivas, Chakri, R. P. Patnaik and Devi Sri Prasad. However, it was in 2003 director Shankar offered Thaman a role in his film ‘BOYS.’ Thaman displayed his skills in the role of rummer by name Krishna in the movie. The movie was a super hit and Thaman was offered many roles eventually. But his main interest lying on music, Thaman declined all the offers and got back to the music field.

The building was previously called as Continental National Bank Building and these days called as JW Marriott Chicago. Lucien Lagrange & Associates when it was converted from offices into a hotel. It is a 20-storey building that spans a total height of 287 feet. SATTIRAJU LAKSHMINARAYANA (BAPU) (December 15, 1933 – August 31, 2014) An Artist, Painter, Illustrator, Cartoonist and Designer Bapu’s directorial venture Saakshi was showcased at Tashkent International film festival in 1968.Seeta Kalyanam was screened at the BFI London Film Festival, Chicago International Film Festival, San Reno and Denver International Film Festivals in 1978, and is part of the course at the British Film Institute.Tyagayya (1981) and Pelli Pustakam (1991) were premiered at the Indian Panorama of the International Film Festival of India. Bapu’s 2011 film Sri Rama Rajyam had a special screening at International Film Festival of India on November 28, 2011. He has garnered two National Film Awards, seven state Nandi Awards, two Filmfare Awards South best Telugu director, and a Filmfare Lifetime Achievement Award – South for the year 2012. In 1996, He has appeared in the Doordarshan Documentary Eminent Cartoonists of India, and was awarded Life Time Achievement from Indian Institute of Cartoonists in 2001. He gained international recognition through his art works viz., Bapu Bomma, The Navarasas, and the Indian Dances etc., which were held at the National Film Theatre, London, in 1978 and at the innumerable Telugu Conferences in the United States. He has worked as a graphic artist for J Walter Thomson, Efficient Publicities and F. D. Stewarts, Chennai. He was a delegate at the seminar in Bangalore on Children’s Books sponsored by UNESCO in 1964. The same year, he gave demonstrations
for the training course programme on book illustrations and cover designs sponsored by UNESCO in Chennai. In 1960’s he has served as art Consultant for Ford Foundation sponsored The Southern Language Book Trust. He has designed and illustrated several books for leading publishers in South India out of which, five received Government Awards. He has also done the same for innumerable works drawn from the puranas and folklore. Known for introducing Anil Kapoor to Telugu cinema and Hindi also, Bapu has directed Bollywood films like Hum Paanch, Prem Pratigyaa,Seeta Swayamvar, Anokhi Bhakt, Bezubaan, Woh Saat Din, Pyari Behna, Mohobbat, Mera Dharam, and Diljala. EARLY LIFE AND BACKGROUND Bapu was born on December 15, 1933, in Narsapur, in presentday West Godavari district, Andhra Pradesh, India to Sattiraju Venugopala Rao and Suryakantam. He has worked as a political cartoonist for the newspaper Andhra Patrika in 1945. He holds B.Com (1953) and BL (1955) from University of Madras.
PAINTING Bapu introduced a painting style of simple bright colors. His unique style consisted of economy of strokes, freehand drawing and a lack of background clutter.
CINEMATIC STYLE
The most notable achievement in Bapu’s movie making is his success in capturing the nativity of the Telugu people and translating it into visuals. His movies center on realistic family issues and relationships, however his recurring theme is magic realism, with vignettes of mythological characters aiding in the narration. 76

His paintings focus on Hindu mythological characters, and he has painted the Hindu epic Ramayana as a pictorial story. His character portrayals, such as Shiva, Bhima, Duryodhana, look distinctly male with wide chests, large jaws and large biceps; while Krishna and Rama are more feminine in build. Bapu has also introduced a new style of cursive writing in Telugu. The font is his own handwriting and reflects the same simplicity as his art.

Bapu met Mullapudi Venkataramana in 1942 in P.S. High School, Madras. They studied there in standards V and VI and then continued schooling at Kesari High School. Ramana’s first short story ‘Amma Maata Vinakapote’ was published in 1945 in ‘Bala’, a children’s magazine published by Radio Annayya (Nyayapathi Raghava Rao),he was 14 then. Bapu illustrated the story. That was the beginning of their career as a writerproducer -illustrator- filmmaker duo”. Started as an illustrator-story writer team and then turning into a film-director-writer duo, they have contributed immensely to the enrichment of Telugu cultural ethos through literature and cinema. When one mentions Bapu, then one is bound to mention Ramana’s name too and vice versa. The most notable achievement in his movie making is his success in capturing the nativity of Telugu people and translating it great on-screen visuals. When ever the renowned duo of Bapu and Ramana come together for a project, viewers expect a spectacular visual of nativity with an equally enthralling story-line. Their mythological ventures like Sampoorna Ramayanam, Ramanjaneya Yuddham and Seeta Kalyanam have been the milestones of Telugu cinema, while historical films like Thyagayya, Bhakta Kannappa and Shreenatha kavisarvabhouma have been hugely successful. Bapu-Ramana combination has created movie magic on the large screen with some of the path breaking films in Telugu cinema and are ever remembered for films like Radha kalyanam, Velugu needalu, Bharyabhartalu, Bhogimanta, Mutyala muggu, ‘Sakshi, Mr. Pellam’, Pelli pustakam and Manavoori Pandavulu which popularized actors of those days like Krishna, Krishnam Raju, Chiranjeevi and Ravu Gopalarao.
DEATH Bapu had suffered heart attacks many times throughout his career. He was admitted into a hospital at Chennai ain mid August 2014. He experienced from cardiac arrest on August 31, 2014. He died on the same day from cardiac arrest. The Government of Andhra Pradesh, has announced state funeral for Bapu.

IME VISHNU MANCHU LAUNCHES RURAL HEALTH SCHEME In a statement released to the media, Vishnu Manchu says, “Our vision is good health and healthy life for all. We want them to lead a healthy life so that they can focus on their livelihood. In fact, health, sanitation and hygiene are vital for economic productivity and these are areas which need attention right now in a rural setting.”

ctor-turned-producer Vishnu Manchu, who is set to release his next Telugu movie Anukshanam on September 13, announced the launch of rural health scheme in five villages in Chandragiri mandal. The son of Dr Mohan Babu made this announcement at an event in Thirupati on Monday, September 8. The aim is to enhance access to health services in the backward regions.
Vishnu Manchu said that an important aspect of the services is to record the medical diagnosis and treatment history of the beneficiaries, which will help the doctors provide better care in future. He added, “So the data of thousands of villagers will be stored and can be retrieved by them whenever they want and also every year they can compare their health statistics.” Students of Sree Vidyanikethan, owned by Vishnu’s actor father Mohan Babu, will work as volunteers in the scheme as part of the institution’s social responsibility team ‘Army Green’. By 2015, Vishnu hopes to cover ‘100 villages through the scheme’.
