IPADS On Monday August 26th, iPad activities will start. You will be receiving 10 iPads and adapters at the scheduled time. I am asking that you read the user manual for students with the children and reflect with them about every rule. I have emailed a PowerPoint in English and Spanish for those who have projector to use it as visual support. 1st and 2nd grade teachers, may request to borrow a projector for that time if you wish. Your coach will come to your room at some time during the period to explain how to connect the adapters and the AP. Ask her any questions you have. Remember that after this time you have to deliver the iPads to the next classroom scheduled on your floor. We will be measuring time and motion to make any adjustments that we consider necessary. Children can use the iPads, organized by teams for a while if you wish. All installed applications have an educational purpose and they can be explored safely. I would like to take this opportunity to let you know that our new iPads are already in school. Over the next week they will be set up by the team of “Engineering and Support�. For this reason, we will only deliver 10 iPads in the next week, so that you can see them and begin to become familiar with them. The activities that we have planned to support the units of inquiry in meetings with Rosario are going to start in the week of September 2nd to 6th. Before that we are going to review the plan on Thursday Aug. 29th and Friday Aug. 30th in physical education planning. Stay tuned to your email and technology blog for information in a timely manner.
