Picture This....
It’s 1966. A fledgling school at the end of Galway Lane in Southeast Columbia opens its doors to 250 students in grades 1st through 12 with three buildings, high hopes and lots of heart.
Now Picture This.... It’s 2010. That fledgling school at the end of Galway Lane in Southeast Columbia is the largest independent school in the area and has graduated over 2,000 students. Her alumni have distinguished themselves in numerous fields of endeavor, nationally and locally. The student body now numbers over 900 in grades Pre-kindergarten through 12. Those three buildings have grown to an impressive 17, including a chapel, theatre, lecture hall, and early technology center. Oh, and did we mention the 17-acre wetland preserve? You should see us now! But rest assured, the only thing that hasn’t changed here are those high hopes and lots of heart ... everything you most remember about the Hammond experience!
