WELCOME Dear Hall of Fame Inductees and Guests, To our inductees, please accept a warm Skyhawk welcome back. And to those of you who are joining us as family members and guests, please accept an equally as warm welcome. We are honored to have such an impressive group of inductees return to be recognized by their alma mater. The manner in which you distinguished yourselves as student-athletes at Hammond, and at the collegiate and professional levels, is a true testament to your talent and perseverance. We feel privileged to have played a small role. To those of you who have been away from campus longer than others, you will find much has changed, and yet much as remained the same. Our athletic facilities and classrooms are vastly different, but the quality of instruction and certainly the heart of Hammond, is what you will remember. I invite you to visit often ... at a sporting event or other campus activity. Thank you for being our honored guests. Chris Angel Headmaster Dear Hall of Fame Inductees and Guests, On behalf of Hammond School, welcome to the 2020 Inaugural Hall of Fame Class Induction Ceremony. It’s an exciting time to be a Skyhawk. This fall, our athletic teams reached a milestone of 150 State Championship Titles. The 2020 athletic season looks to be another great year for our student-athletes. We are excited and honored to induct our first class of 12 members to the Hammond Athletics Hall of Fame. The Athletics Hall of Fame was established to recognize those individuals who have distinguished themselves in the Hammond athletic community either by their athletic success at Hammond and beyond, the impact of their coaching on student-athletes, both on and off the playing field, or by the positive contributions they have made to Hammond athletics. Thank you all for joining us today for this special event as we honor our welldeserving recipients. Jeff Barnes Athletic Director 4
