2012/13 Brazilian Crop Brix/Acid Ratio Situation
To whom it may concern:
The Technical Committee of CitrusBR informs that the orange brix/acid Ratio for the crop 2012/13 in Brazil (state of S. Paulo) is higher than normal due to abnormal climate pattern observed this year, which has presented and extended drought and warmer days during the end of the winter and beginning of the spring.
This abnormal weather condition has boosted the fruit maturation and has been the main reason for the higher brix/acid Ratio situation.
