Intermediate Pattern Cutting - ART004
AutoCAD (computer aided design) 2014 for beginners is designed for those who have not had previous contact with the software. We will cover tools such as 2D drawing, learning to work with different layers, creating and handling blocks and layouts.
Do you have an interest in making garments and have either attended our Introductory Pattern Cutting course or have some basic pattern cutting experience?
As a professional or an amateur in the world of technical design, this course will bring you the knowledge and skills you need to feel confident when producing 2D drawings in AutoCad.
On this course you’ll be shown how to draft a basic pattern. This pattern can be adapted to your own design which you will then make into a finished garment using the skills you have learnt on the course.
7-9pm 30/01/2014 - 03/07/2014 Fee: £299
There will be some input from tutors on the construction but the main emphasis will be pattern cutting, as it will be expected that you are already confident in garment construction.
CIPD Learning & Development - COM097
More advanced pattern cutting techniques will also be taught.
Do you want to train as a trainer? This nationally recognised course is designed to help you improve your skills and knowledge of basic training work. Successful completion of the course will enable you to obtain the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development new Certificate in Learning and Development Practice. It also provides invaluable background knowledge and training skills, and a qualification on which to apply for the Institute’s professional course of study.
6-9pm 30/01/2014 - 29/05/2014 Fee: £235
5.30-9pm 07/01/2014 - 01/12/2014 Fee: £1,250
