The farmers market offers residents access to locally grown, sustainable, fresh produce and value-added products. The vendors have an incredible variety of fruits and vegetables, with some tasty heirloom strains, jellies, plants, flowers, baked goods, seafood, artisan coffee, fresh chips and dips, fresh squeezed lemonade, and so much more! There will also be educational and entertaining programs throughout the season. Small Fri Tri
Saturday, August 20, 9:00 a.m.
Bartlett Recreation Center
Parents, bring your young athletes to the 13th Annual Small Fry Tri. Kids will run, bike and swim (OK, just run through the sprinklers) to the finish line, where everyone receives a trophy. Parents, older siblings or “personal trainers” may help the athletes navigate through the course. All you need to bring is a bicycle or tricycle and a helmet.
Pre-registration begins June 15th and is highly recommended due to the popularity of this event! You may pre-register at the Bartlett Recreation Center or online at registration.cityofbartlett.org. The registration fee is $10.
Check-in begins at 8:00am and race time is 9:00am at the Bartlett Recreation Center. There is a maximum of 100 racers, so do not miss your chance to be a part of the BRC’s Small Fry Tri! .............................................................................

The Bartlett Station Commission will once again be bringing “Movies in the Park” back for its. This fun, family oriented mini movie series is free to the community. Families can bring their blankets, lawn chairs, picnic baskets and watch a movie on the big screen under the stars at W.J. Freeman Park. Memphis BBQ Cooking Contest & Car Show
Friday, September 30, 6:00 p.m. – 9:30 p.m. Saturday, October 1, 9:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.
W.J. Freeman Park, 2629 Bartlett Blvd.
Make plans to be a part of this fun-filled family event. Friday evening will begin with live music, featuring Thump Daddy, children's activities, concessions and more!
Then come back for Saturday’s events that will include a MBN sanctioned BBQ cooking contest, live musical entertainment, featuring, arts & crafts, a classic car show, a children’s area, business vendors, concessions and much more!

BXST Swim Meets
Saturday, Sept. 24th and Sunday, Sept. 25th Saturday, Dec. 10th and Sunday Dec. 11th
Bartlett Recreation Center
BXST will host USA Swimming meets the weekends of September 24th & 25th and December 10th & 11th which will result in pool closure for most of the weekend. Come out and see high-level, competitive swimming at its best. Concessions will be sold.

Thursday and Friday, back by popular demand, will be our HAUNTED HOUSE for those who want to be spooked, surprised, thrilled and chilled! The Haunting of Singleton Community Center is a well-known hometown legend and has been featured in numerous articles as well as being the center of multiple paranormal investigations. Come and experience it all for yourself in the basement of the oldest section of Singleton (built in 1918)! It will be a Fa-BOO-lous time!!! (6pm-8pm) KID FRIENDLY (recommended for ages 12 & under but all ages are welcome!) Admission is $1.00 per person along with a lot of bravery!
On Friday, come to our very popular Halloween Carnival which will take place in the Singleton Gymnasium. There will be games, contests, candy and fun. Will your costume win a prize in the Costume Contest? Judging will begin at 7:00pm and is divided into the following age categories: 0–3, 4–6, 7–9, 10–12, 13 and over. Admission is $1.00 for adults; children 12 and under are free.

Turkey Shoot
Singleton Community Center
Win a Thanksgiving turkey at the annual Singleton Turkey Shoot. BB guns, provided by the Bartlett Parks and Recreation Department, will be used to shoot targets mounted on bales of hay in the Singleton Gymnasium. Outside weapons will not be allowed on City property. First, second, and third place prizes will be awarded in the following age categories: 8 & under, 9–12, 13–17, 18–35, 36–50, 51-65, and 66 & up. $1.00 per target.

Christmas Tree Lighting

Singleton Community Center
Come join us for the annual Christmas Tree Lighting at Singleton Community Center. The festivities begin at 6 p.m. with entertainment from our 4-year-old Preschool Classes. Soon after, Santa and Mrs. Claus will arrive with the Bartlett Fire Department and light the tree with their Christmas magic! Can’t make it in person? No problem. We will also stream the experience on Singleton’s Facebook page so everyone can kick off the Holiday Season!

Celebrate this Christmas season with a leisurely stroll at the Mayor A. Keith McDonald Pavilion featuring live entertainment, holiday floats, fun activities for the children, yummy treats to eat, and best of all, a visit with Santa and Mrs. Claus!
This year we are once again hosting a Christmas event at the A. Keith McDonald Pavilion inside W.J. Freeman Park on Saturday, December 3rd from 4-7pm. This event will be held inside the pavilion and the parking lot in front of the pavilion. We will have Santa and Mrs. Claus, scheduled entertainment, a static display of floats, and children’s activities and concessions for sale. The community will be invited to walk through the area and participate in the activities.
