We are Bristol’s Further Education college, providing as wide a range of technical and professional education as possible across the city and beyond. Our Higher Education provision is a key part of this mission, and is designed to offer something distinctively different from a standard university experience.

The quality of our HE offer is very good; year after year student feedback is very positive and we have achieved a rating of “Silver” under the Teaching Excellence Framework. We work closely with our key university partners – the University of Plymouth, Bath Spa University and the University of the West of England (UWE) – to ensure we meet the highest quality standards. Specialist resources and support at each of our centres for university-level study. One more thing, especially important during the crisis caused by the Covid-19 pandemic: we are committed to providing as much face-to-face teaching as possible despite the current social-distancing restrictions. We have re-organised all our teaching rooms to make them Covid secure and introduced stringent health and safety procedures in all areas of our operation. You can expect to receive a blend of online and face-to-face teaching, but you will still benefit from an interactive learning experience and the opportunity to meet people and make new friends.
