Forecast Workforce

According to TPA estimates, the workforce of the Council LGA was approximately 52,072 as at 2019. This number includes all people who are either employed or unemployed and seeking work. As shown in Figure 2-12, the total workforce in the Council LGA is forecast to continue to grow to around 76,000 in 2056, with the growth rate slowing slightly from 2041.  The workforce in and around Rhodes is forecast to grow significantly, particularly to the north-east and west of the train station.

 Other precincts forecast to increase their workforce include Concord West Station west,

Five Dock along Great North Road, and North Strathfield Station east.
