Delicious Dark Chocolate Cupcakes

2 cups flour

1 cup sugar

¾ cup cocoa powder

1 teaspoon baking powder

1 teaspoon baking soda

1 teaspoon salt

1 teaspoon vanilla extract

2 eggs

¾ cup canola oil

1 cup water

Instructions

1. Line a cupcake tin. Set aside.

2. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F ahrenheit.

3. Combine the flour, sugar, cocoa powder, baking powder, baking soda and salt in a large bowl.

4. In a medium bowl, whisk together the vanilla, eggs, canola oil, and water.

5. Combine the wet ingredients and the dry ingredients in the large bowl.

6. Scoop the batter into a cupcake tin.

Chef Tip: Use an ice cream scoop when you are scooping the batter into the tin.

7. Bake for 15 to 20 minutes, or until the toothpick comes out clean

From Chef Madeline: I came up with this recipe when I was younger, based on my experience baking - especially cupcakes. I have made it several times, and each one has turned out wonderfully. I think that the cupcakes are delicious, and that they are also incredibly easy to make. I hope others enjoy them as much as my family does!
