MESSAGE FROM THE MAYOR

Welcome to the QPT Program for the first half of the 2019 season. We have an outstanding selection of entertainment making its way to the venue, which will delight even the toughest of critics. Audiences will be able to immerse themselves in the wonders of the ocean without getting their feet wet this coming March as the Ocean Film Festival Australia makes a splash. The film documents the beauty and power of the ocean and celebrates the divers, surfers, swimmers and oceanographers who live for the sea’s salt spray. After taking some time off last year, Dan Sultan will return to Geraldton fresher than ever. He’ll play a variety of old tunes and new tracks that are sure to rock the roof off the venue. The whole family will enjoy the telling tale of Robot Song, which features 11 year old Juniper May and how her life is turned into chaos following an eventful day at school. A giant singing robot turns out to be an unlikely ally and showcases the profound nature of creativity combined when it is combined with unconditional love. Catch all this and so much more at the QPT this summer. See you there.
