Seniors Week Program

8 - 17 NOVEMBER 2024

Welcome

I’m thrilled to welcome you to Seniors Week 2024, which is an important and vibrant celebration of the over 60s in our Greater Geraldton community.

“Reach Beyond” is this year’s theme and is about trying something new and challenging yourself in a different way.

Our fantastic committee have prepared a diverse events calendar that allows you to embrace the theme – whether that be learning about different cultures, dusting off your dancing shoes for a Zumba lesson or experiencing a cycle atop an eBike.

There’s lots to get involved in from Friday 8 November – Sunday 17 November!

The Mayor’s Mystery Morning Tea is unique to Seniors Week 2024 and something QEII Seniors & Community Centre members specifically asked for.

The format of this event usually involves a bus tour but with a lot of maintenance programs currently underway, we’re responding to your suggested change and throwing a memorable morning tea and Q&A session instead.

Bookings for all events open on Monday 28 October and can be completed at the QEII Centre.

Seniors Week 2024 wouldn’t be possible without our exceptional volunteers, staff and sponsors. We appreciate all the effort you have put into this celebration!

Mayor Jerry Clune City of Greater Geraldton
