Jonesboro PD is CALLING ALL SENIORS!

YARD OF THE MONTH

Sign up for our SCOPE Program Senior Citizens’ Outreach Plus Engagement

“SCOPE” means to look at carefully. Magnifying our senior citizens gives the Jonesboro Police Department the ability to support our senior community through outreach plus engagement. SCOPE creates an opportunity for JPD to identify the needs of our seniors, craft solutions, and improve the quality of life. JPD will conduct regular welfare checks in person and by telephone. Law enforcement partnered with our senior citizens cultivates a sense of security, restoring confidence for our senior population to be more socially interactive while realizing they are part of one great community. A portion of the Community Garden of Jonesboro has been officially reserved for members of SCOPE to receive fresh veggies, once harvested. Jonesboro PD will hand-deliver fresh veggies to your home. FOR MORE INFORMATION OR TO SIGN UP FOR THE SCOPE PROGRAM, CALL THE JONESBORO POLICE DEPARTMENT AT (770) 478-7407.
