Physical literacy is the knowledge, ability, motivation and confidence to engage in a wide range of physical activities for life. Kids benefit from participating in as many different sports and physical activities as possible while they are learning movement and sports skill. Getting experience in many different activities is a good way to develop physical literacy, which provides the foundation for achievement in sport and also for success in life. Our grassroots programs including our XploreSportz camps include a variety of sports and activities in a FUN environment. Check out our programs on page 75. kamloops.ca/recreation
