Aquatics Water Fitness Aqua GroupX

Aqua PiTa Fusion

This aquatic aerobic class will incorporate a combination of Pilates (Pi) and Tabata (Ta). The Pilates portion will utilize low impact core exercises of a Pilates class while the Tabata part will include short interval high-intensity training of a Tabata workout. Water Fitness

Looking to expand your exercise routine to the water? Water fitness is the perfect class for anybody. These fun classes improve strength, range of motion, and muscle conditioning. Day: Monday & Wednesday Time: 6:30-7:30 PM Fee: Non-Members $8/class Location: Thrive Pool Registration for fitness classes opens on the 23rd of each month at 10 AM

Group X classes are included with Thrive Annual memberships.

River Robics

River Robics includes a variety of movements going with and against the current of the lazy river. This class offers a cardio challenge, increases stamina, and tones larger muscle groups. Fee: Non-Members $8/class Location: Thrive Pool

Aquacise

Workout your muscles without impacting your joints. This aerobics class will combine cardio and resistance exercises to tone and sculpt your body in the water. Day: Tuesday & Thursday Time: 5:30-6:20 PM Fee: Non-Members $8/class Location: Thrive Pool

Deep Water Fitness

This is a high intensity class that will challenge your endurance, strength, and tone your muscles. Class will take place in the deep area of the lap pool. Jog belts will be provided to provide support in the water. Day: Monday & Friday Monday & Wednesday Time: 8:30-9:15 AM (M/F)

5:30-6:20 PM (M/W) BOGA Fit

Yoga on the water? Try something new this season! This circuit style class will work your entire body and target your core while you balance on a floating platform. This course can be adapted to fit the skillset of any participant. Day: Wednesday Time: 8:15-9 AM Fee: $8/class Location: Thrive Pool

Log Rolling Lessons

Ever heard of lumberjacks rolling on logs? Well now is your chance to experience it in Lewisville! Learn how to log roll so you can roll for fun or compete against friends! Classes are held every Saturday beginning February 5th. Day: 1st Saturday of month Time: 2 PM Age: 6+ Fee: $8/class Location: Thrive Pool

CPR/AED with First Aid for the Professional Rescuer Certification

The American Red Cross course will train participants to perform CPR at the professional level, operate an AED, and perform first aid. Upon successful completion, participants will receive a certification valid for 2 years. Day: Saturday Session 1: Feb. 26 Session 2: April 16 Time: 8 AM-5 PM Age: 15+ Fee: $65/session Location: Thrive Dogwood 3 Lifeguarding, Water Park Skills Blended Learning

The American Red Cross course will train participants in Lifeguarding skills, CPR, AED, and First Aid. An additional module will be provided to train participants to work in waterparks. Participants will be required to complete an online portion and pre-skills prior to the first class. Day: Varied; 2-day course Session 1: Jan. 22-23 Session 2: Feb. 19-20 Session 3: March 12-13 Session 4: April 2-3 Session 5: May 7-8 Time: 8 AM-5 PM Age: 16+ Location: Thrive Pool Fee: $200/session

Jr. Lifeguard Program

Build a foundation of knowledge, attitudes, and skills with the American Red Cross Junior Lifeguard Program! Class meets on Saturdays for eight weeks. Day: Saturday, Feb. 5-March 26 Time: 8-10:30 AM Age: 11-15 Fee: $80/session Location: Thrive Egret/Pool
