Senior Tai Chi

This class is for those who wish to gently strengthen and tone their muscles, increase joint flexibility and promote better balance in a fun and encouraging setting. Working while seated or standing and with instrumental music to focus breathing, the flowing, meditative movements of gentle stretches and graceful Chen-style silk-reeling motions allow each participant to work at his or her own pace and comfort level. Tai Chi for Arthritis for Fall Prevention

This program is designed to be a safe and effective exercise for a wide range of ages and conditions including arthritis. It uses the Sun Style of Tai Chi with its Qigong exercise to benefit balance, flexibility, mobility, coordination, management of arthritis and health in general. It is taught all over the world to prevent falls. Ask about a discount for SilverSneakers and Renew Active members!

Pickleball

Did you know the Renaud Center offers pickleball? Whether you are a beginner or a veteran of this popular game you are welcome to play during our set times. Pickleball play is free to members, and guests can play for a $3 discount on daily admission. (Pickleball play only, please.)

Silver Social Hour

Grab a friend or two and sign up for this exciting new social hour playing a few board games or your favorite card game.

Every other Thursday afternoon at the Renaud Center (2nd

and 4th Thursdays of the month), you can choose from a variety of games, including chess, checkers, mahjong, bridge and a few others. Coffee and ice water will be provided. Please register at least a week in advance.

Bridge Club

Join us for cards, coffee and friendship! This active club meets twice a month on the 2nd and 3rd Wednesdays of the month, and coffee and cards will be provided. Registration ends five days before the program’s start date. Please register early to make sure we have enough players to keep the program from being cancelled.

Trips • Ages 21+

Please note, trips hosted by O'Fallon Parks and Recreation depart from the Krekel Civic Center parking lot. Krekel Civic Center, located at 305 Civic Park Dr., is designated as "KCC" in course codes.

Fairmount Horse Races

Hannibal Riverboat Cruise

Register now for an enjoyable day in Hannibal, Missouri. We'll begin with a tour of the Mark Twain Boyhood Home & Museum, then step aboard the Mark Twain for a delicious lunch and a relaxing cruise on the Mississippi River. Join us for a tour of the State Capitol in Jefferson City! The day will begin with a guided tour of the Governor’s Mansion. Then off to the Cole County Historical Society Museum where the romantic history of Missouri unfolds. The building is filled with treasures of historical significance dating from the era of the Louisiana Territory. This is the only museum in the country to display inaugural gowns of its state's First Ladies at times throughout the year. After lunch we will stop off for dessert at Central Dairy for their famous ice cream. The day concludes with a tour of the Museum of Missouri Military History. This museum houses exhibits beginning from 1808, the activation date of the Missouri Militia. Exhibits continue from the War of 1812 to the present day Guard. Meet Me in St. Louis – St. Louis Aquarium and the Wheel

Come explore the new St. Louis Aquarium and take a ride in the wheel! Our journey starts through the freshwater river and the shallow waters of a salt marsh before travelling into the ocean deep. We will than check out the St. Louis Wheel. Check out the greatest views of the St. Louis skyline aboard this 200-ft high observation wheel. St. Louis Spirits

Discover the stories behind historic Lemp Mansion. Enjoy a guided tour through 2 floors of the mansion with facts of the Lemp family and their Brewing empire. Lunch in provided at the Lemp Mansion. After lunch the group will move to AnheuserBusch for a guided tour of the brewery. Here you will see the 7-step brewing process and the world-famous Budweiser Clydesdales at the historic stables built in 1885.

Holiday Lights Tour

Join us for this fantastic tour of some of the brightest holiday lights in the metro area. We’ll begin with the breathtaking Way of Lights at the National Shrine of Our Lady of the Snows followed by a delicious dinner at the Way of Lights Buffet. Next up is the Missouri Botanical Garden for the Annual Garden Glow to see the grounds illuminated by thousands of colorful lights. We’ll cap the evening with a drive-through of O’Fallon’s own Celebration of Lights. The City of O’Fallon is hiring positive, responsible, energetic part-time people. All positions are part-time and/or seasonal positions, and are not eligible for benefits. Applicants must be at least 16 and be able to work flexible hours including nights, weekends and holidays. Applicants must also have a valid Missouri driver’s license and pass drug, alcohol and background screening. Special certification and experience may be required. Lifeguards and Swimming Instructors

Duties include watching over swimmers, cleaning the pool area and meeting safety regulations. Training is available. Alligator’s Creek staff works Memorial Day weekend through Labor Day; positions at the Renaud Center are year-round.

Concession Jobs

Food Service Workers and Food Service Supervisors are needed March to November. Workers rotate between Alligator’s Creek Aquatic Center, Ozzie Smith Sports Complex, Westhoff Park, Dames Park and Sports Park.

Camp Counselors • May through August

Counselors work on average less than 30 hours per week and receive training, including CPR/First Aid. Duties include supervision of children ages 5–12.

Pool Cashiers • May through September

Cash handling experience preferred. Cashiers work at Alligator’s Creek and handle cash and registrations.

Part-time Park Maintenance • Ages 18+

Seasonal Park Maintenance workers are needed May – August and April – September. Training is available. Duties include mowing, string trimming, cleaning restrooms, pavilions and playgrounds and assisting with festivals and special events.

Part-time Landscape • Ages 18+

Seasonal Landscape workers are needed March – December. Duties include mowing, string trimming, mulching and other grounds care.
