Greetings to my Ward 4 neighbors, I’m Bonnie Weber, your Ward 4 City Councilmember. It has been an honor to serve you on the Reno City Council. My family and I have called the North Valleys our home for more than 30 years and we love it! I believe Reno is still the Biggest Little City in the World. I’m committed to keeping Reno a place where we can raise our families and people are proud to call home. Street Sweeping To view the map of monthly street sweeping routes, visit the website below and click on “Street Sweeping”. Phone: (775) 334-INFO (4636) Website: Reno.Gov/PublicWorks Getting a clean sweep of city streets requires some “good neighbor” habits: • Park cars off the street on sweeping day. • Trim your trees away from the curb line allowing the sweepers a clear path to sweep along the curb. • Avoid blowing or raking lawn trimmings and leaves into the street, which is unlawful.

Boys & Girls Club of Lemmon Valley The Boys & Girls Club is a resource center for families and the community. They provide free meals, basic needs supplies, and college scholarships to teens. No one is ever turned away from the club due to an inability to pay. Sports leagues (soccer, basketball, t-ball, flag football, gymnastics, etc.) are offered for 3 years old to 8th grade. Illegal Dumping Keep Truckee Meadows Beautiful (KTMB) is an organization that leads many initiatives aimed at preserving the beauty of our region. One of which, is the prevention of illegal dumping. Illegal dumping contaminates our watershed, is harmful to wildlife, presents a fire hazard, decreases property value, and incurs a cleanup cost to taxpayers. Flex Ride

RTC’s FlexRIDE curbside-to-curbside transit service is available in select areas of the North Valleys. Scheduling a FlexRIDE is done by using the RTC Washoe FlexRIDE app on your smartphone or tablet, or by calling a dispatcher.

Reno Housing Authority Reno Housing Authority (RHA) is the premiere affordable housing entity in Washoe County, providing housing for low income families, Veterans, and unhoused youth. Additionally, RHA provides emergency housing vouchers for those who are homeless, at risk of homelessness, fleeing or attempting to flee domestic violence, dating violence, sexual assault, stalking or human trafficking, or for whom providing rental assistance will prevent the family’s homelessness or having high risk of housing instability. Trash Collection Waste Management is Reno’s waste disposal provider. Homeowners get 20 excess waste stickers per year which must be affixed to a trash bag no larger than 32-gallons in size for pick up next to regular trash bins on pick up days. Ward 4 residents can also bring 4 truck loads per year to the Stead Transfer Station free of charge. Customers must show a recent trash bill or have identification that matches the service address on the bill. The Stead Transfer Station does not accept hazardous waste.
