FOREWORD
Welcome to Reno Lens: BELIEVE, a book that would not be possible without the incredibly talented photographers who submitted their original work to grace the pages of this special publication. This inaugural edition of Reno Lens focuses on Reno’s colorful seasons: one of the many characteristics that make The Biggest Little City a great place to call home, or to visit.
The BELIEVE sculpture, which originated at Burning Man and was dedicated into the City of Reno’s public art collection on December 31, 2015, is featured on the cover. The sculpture has helped to reignite civic pride in Reno. Throughout this book you will read why the Mayor, her fellow City Council Members, and the City Manager uniformly agree that this is the perfect time to “believe in Reno.” To get involved, use #BELIEVEReno or visit Reno.Gov/BELIEVEReno.
