Winter Reading Challenge

Black History Month

Level Up! An Immersive Gaming Experience

Date: March 5-31 Ages: All Cost: Free Location: Suffolk (various locations with select partners) Gather your friends or take on this challenge alone! It’s time for Level Up!, a self-paced immersive gaming experience that will take you around different locations in Suffolk! Come to the Library to pick up your kit to complete this activity. There is plenty of time for you to join in the fun and participate in this challenge all month long!

IconiCon 2022

Date: Saturday, April 30 Time: 10:00 AM- 3:00 PM Ages: All Cost: Free Location: North Suffolk Library IconiCon is back in-person! Immerse yourself in a whole week of fandom fun with live content for all ages. Tune into all that is in store for this time full of cosplay, contests, costumes, and so much more.

This activity is designed to address a child’s concerns or fears over doctor’s visits and routine medical procedures. Registration Required.

1,000 Books Before Kindergarten

1,000 Books Before Kindergarten is an early literacy program where children ages birth through the start of kindergarten are challenged to read 1,000 books with their parents and caretakers.
