Britomart Place planned works • Works will start above ground during May. • While there will be unavoidable noisy works, we are using the quietest machinery practicable and will keep as much noisy work during daytime as possible. • There will be night works at times – these are unavoidable as we are only able to work inside parts of the tunnel when the rail line is closed. • We will minimise any above-ground work at night as much as we can. The main activity at night on Britomart Place will be a concrete pump used to pump concrete down into the tunnel.
