Cable hauling and terminating
• We have a total of 600km of cable to install.
• Currently at 575km installed.
• Emphasis now on terminating and testing of every cable.

Tunnel Ventilation Fan supplies livened for testing
• Platform terrazzo flooring is completed on MC20 and MC30.
• Fire hydrant joinery units and signage droppers are progressing on the platforms.
• GRC panels forming the portal at the two entry points of Adit 4 and Adit 2 have been completed.
• Curved baffle ceiling installation is progressing in Adit 3.
• Porcelain wall cladding is progressing in the Mercury Lane (MLA) and Beresford (BSQ) escalator shafts.
• Wall cladding (shadowbox) is completed on MLA L0 and underway on the B6 and BSQ B2 concourse.
• Ceiling installation is progressing throughout the station.
• MLA building's fourth element and sky element façade cladding is completed.
• Retail frameless façade glazing on MLA has been installed.
• The external wall cladding for the TVS shaft is nearing completion on MLA.

Mercury Lane progress
The new toilet block has been installed and the footpath on the eastern side is being laid.
Pitt Street progress
Works include pouring concrete for the new footpath outside the Fire Station and installing new stormwater upgrades between the Fire Station and Poynton Terrace.
Christmas Period
• Work will stop on site on Friday 20 December 2024 and resume Monday
6 January 2025.
• The new toilet block will be open to the public on the evening of Friday 20 December 2024.
• The sites will be left tidy and secure.
• Greys Avenue will be opened to two-way traffic for the shutdown period.
