Environmental Update – Noise and Vibration

Works are managed according to our Construction Noise and Vibration DWP

• Assess/plan the works

• Notify residents about works –Communication team

• Undertake works within permitted or agreed hours

• Before an activity starts, put in place required noise mitigation measures (eg. noise mats)

• Undertake noise and vibration monitoring if it is required

Planning is the first mitigation; then we implement the best practical options

North Auckland Line (NAL) - Construction Update

• Temporary services bridge removed during Easter BOL.

• Porters Avenue Bridge opened to public on 1 May 2023.

• Porters Avenue streetscape works nearing completion.

• Haultain Street/FentonStreet streetscapeworks have commenced.

• Urban realm work on Boston Road (west) and Normanby Road nearing completion.

• Reinstatement of eastern side of Mt Eden Road to commence shortly.

• Fit-out works inside CRL platform commenced.

• Fit-out works include pouring first stage and third stage (shoulder) concrete.
