Questions and Answers

Will the Beresford Square toilets in the service building open up before the actual station opens?

Currently, they are not expected to open before the station does but we are pushing for them to be opened in advance of the station coming into operation

Any plans to install lighting and signage that will effectively connect the station to Ponsonby Road?

This is out of our remit so we’re unsure on that point.

With Cross Street work taking place, will there be another Cross Street Festival next year?

The organizer is very hopeful of hosting the event again next year and we hope to support them once more, if possible.

When will Vector and Stockman begin work on Karangahape Road?

Vector will be working, in micro sections to minimise business disruption, on Karangahape Road from early October through to the middle of December of this year. We will communicate the exact dates closer to the time.

How many work pits will there be around the neighbourhood as part of Vector works?

There will be 21 in total
