The Whetu Rohe Space travel is finally public
Welcome to the Whetu Rohe, The first public space station from Earth! This is a quick explanation and tour of the public space infrastructure.
The Whetu Rohe The Whetu Rohe is the first non-Earth satellite Space Station, Designed and manufactured in New Zealand by Rocket Labs. People can come and go as they please, ship maintenance is readily available for only a small fee. There are several venues on the Whetu Rohe, including a restaurant/cafe, Accommodations, and an Entertainment centre. It is already in orbit of the sun and will be inhabited soon.
The Power Source This Crystal is the energy source of the Whetu Rohe. It is a dormant constantanium mineral, discovered deep underground Mount Ngauruhoe. It is extremely rare. This type of element gives off lots of energy when dormant, but when active gives off blinding light. This Crystal will not become active for at least 6 thousand years. This makes the whetu rohe entirely sustainable.
The Tiki On the front of the Whetu Rohe you will see a very large Tiki face. This is (like the name of the ship) to commemorate the fact that this spaceship was made in Aotearoa and to honor the Maori culture.
Accommodations The whetu rohe has accomodations for long term guests. They can personalise it however they choose. The paint job has not been done yet, but the quests will get a bed, a special JellieSeatTM* and a nice desk.
*It’s not actually trademarked.
Food There is a cafe on the Whetu Rohe. It can provide you with most foods invented. It may not look like much, but the new technology means ingredients are ultra-compacted and can be turned into many different forms. In this picture there are chocolate doughnuts and jelly bubble muffins.

The part where I say who made this and stuff. My name is Emeth Casey, and I go to Manurewa Intermediate School. I turned 12 a month ago. This project is a moderately big accomplishment for me. A big thanks to my teacher, Mr. Stewart for passing this on to me. Also, thank you whoever is reading this for judging hundreds of entries in this large-scale project.
The Process I did this project in the Blender 3d engine, rendered with cycles. I chose this because I wanted to do something different from other people and also improve my 3d design skills. This was hard as it is quite a large project for someone like me. I did this from my own head without tutorials. It is nowhere near looking professional but I am still somewhat happy with what I have created. Like most thing in life, it is not quite as grandiose as it was in my head. An aspect that made this hard was the fact that I am using a 2012 hp elite laptop with an Intel 7600 graphics system. It really struggled. A few times I got some quite undesired results from renders like this one. I only had time to work on this lots this week and I kind of hit a creative rut halfway. I put a lot of effort into this project, and I think I am happy with it.
