We created Hardelot as a golfing destination as long ago as 1981. This original French Golf Holidays destination, as well as the rest of the coast, has everything a golfer needs including four courses rated among Europe’s best. In addition to the outstanding quality of golf, there are many other attractions: 70 miles of beautiful beaches, smart resorts, historic towns, great shopping and a fine choice of restaurants.

Getting to this golfers’ paradise is easy - Folkestone-Calais with Eurotunnel, Dover-Calais/Dunkirk with the ferry companies, overnight sailings from the north of England and Scotland to Zeebrugge, flights to Paris, and for city slickers looking for an easy break, try taking the Eurostar from Waterloo to Frethun where a taxi or coach will be waiting to transfer you to Le Touquet - just 40 minutes away.

Our local influence and knowledge means that there is plenty of availability for our clients particularly midweek - but do book early if you fancy taking a long weekend in May and September. Late autumn, early spring and summer are ideal times to holiday as the courses are not busy and the prices are very keen. As the soil is sandy, the courses are in great condition practically all year-round and even winter golf makes a refreshing change from the dreary conditions back home.

An increasing number of golfers are sampling the lesser-known delights of Saint-Omer, Arras, Dunkirk and Lille where there are five good courses with uncrowded fairways, charming hotels and cosmopolitan towns. This relatively unknown area is called Flanders and offers good beaches and delicious local cuisine at terrific value. Life is based around the rivers and countryside.

There are war (Operation Dynamo) and sea museums to visit too.

Designed as a wonderful walk through one of the largest nature reserves in Europe, you can’t help but swing with a big smile – regardless of your score. The recipe for success here is to

follow the shape of the fairways in order to attack the large greens, putt well and don’t lose your concentration or cut any corners. Go for a few birdies when it’s calm but be happy with bogeys when the wind blows off the nearby coast. Easy walking, though the distance between green and next tee can be long. Small but welcoming clubhouse. One mile from Fort-Mahon and 18 miles south of Le Touquet. A real gem. Only seven buggies are available as Belle Dune is a protected nature reserve. So please ask us to reserve buggies for you as soon as possible.

An all-round game is important but the short game is vital. This is birdie or bogey golf in very pretty surroundings. The impressive clubhouse provides a fine finish to the day.
