Erskine grads engage the world in significant and meaningful ways. Take Corey Emanuel Chapman, an Erskine alum who has dedicated himself to improving the lives of children – and whole communities – through multimedia such as television, film, print, and the Internet. Corey’s passion for education has taken him from the halls of Erskine to the streets of New York City, where he was an editorial trainee under the leadership of CNN’s Soledad O’Brien and went on to earn a master’s degree in Communication and Education from Columbia University’s Teachers College. Now, he pursues a career producing educational and commercial programming. He is also the author of the children’s book entitled Can I Be President, Too? The Journey of Henry Hopeful. “For me,” Corey says, “it’s not all about the glitz and glamor of television; it’s about being able to use media to transform people’s lives.” His dream job is to work on Reading Rainbow 2.0. Corey is known for his passion for quality educational programming. How will you be known?

Most qualified students are able to enjoy the exceptional value of an Erskine education by combining federal and state assistance, generous merit-based scholarships, and wise financial planning. In fact, more than 95% of students receive assistance through some blend of these sources. Last year alone, we were privileged to provide more than $10 million in scholarships. A typical Erskine student from South Carollina can expect to pay around $10,000 a year to attend Erskine.
Our fifteen intercollegiate teams compete in NCAA Division II as part of Conference Carolinas.
