Hello! Welcome to the 4th Quarter 2022 edition of The Gallery, the Upstate’s first and only brokerageproduced publication. We’re happy you’re here, as we are excited to share some announcements heading into 2023.
First, we have hired a Director of Marketing! Jillian Sobeck Whalen is a Greenville native, but she is based out of the DC area and has extensive experience with Sotheby’s International Realty marketing, formerly serving as the marketing director for a top producing team in the DC-MD-VA metro area with TTR Sotheby’s International Realty. Jillian knows both the Sotheby’s International Realty brand, and the more local version, the Joan Herlong & Associates brand, inside and out. We are so excited about Jillian, and the impact that her expertise and unique vision will have on the businesses, and the lives, of our associates and their clients.

Secondly, we have an announcement regarding the publication you are currently reading! The Gallery has been a great success for Joan Herlong & Associates since its introduction in 2018. In 2023, The Gallery will take the next step in its evolution, and will change from a quarterly publication to an annual format. The new format will be much more substantial than the quarterly editions, and will feature much of the same content, but we’ll be bringing much more to the table as we’d love to see this publication on coffee tables across The Upstate after it is released.
In the meantime, you can still expect the same basic things from any Joan Herlong & Associates Sotheby’s International Realty agent:
– that they will embody the company’s core values of Honor, Advocacy, and Expertise,
– that they will “do the right thing, even when no one is looking,” as that is both the company’s stated policy as well as its ethos, – that they will provide “complete client transparency” at every step of the process, so our clients are never guessing or wondering about anything, – that they will always tell the truth, even if the truth is hard to tell, or hear,
